I'm having some pretty bad second-hand embarrassment.
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

I'm expecting that girls reaction to be made into a gift by tomorrow.

Oh Miss Ivy did not just say that!
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Rodriquez is so miscast for the Girl in Once.

Sorry to spoil something for your Dramamama. I figured if anyone who can't watch right now doesn't want to be spoiled they would avoid this thread until after they've watched.
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

Jimmy stopped taking his medication, apparently.

Poor Christian Borle has to carry the load of the show's plunkity-plunk moments, apparently.
That scene with the wine bottle was one of the more WTF moments in the SMASH-iverse.

At least we know Rent officially exists in Smashworld. Also, who thinks those Bombshell and Hit List Playbills will be a hot grab at the flea market this year???

You didn't spoil anything for me --I'm only speaking for others. And this is so gawd-awful, you couldn't possibly ruin it.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Ha, it really is awful!
This stagedoor stuff with Ivy is cringeworthy, and poor Tom with the wine bottle.

just give us the nominees and then cut straight to the Tonys. Add in a performance from Pippin and I'll be a happy camper with the closure of this show.

The whole nominations into the Tonys is going to be so rushed.
If we are going to go through the OCC, Drama Desk, etc, this really could have been played out over several episodes.
Mary Testa looks great!!
That Lena Dunham and a bra joke. Ooof.

The Sutton Foster nomination reaction was one of my favorite things of SMASH.

I hope neither Tom nor Derek win Best Director.
Jimmy waited at the stagedoor for Karen and she didn't know it was him?! LOL

I almost freaked out when Ivy Lynn's name didn't get called. This show has manyyy flaws, but this character redeemed herself and worked hard for the role.

I still find it stupid that Ana didn't get back in the show. Yes, I guess it's important to show corruption in theatre, but still.

A Glee-style group number, autotuned to all hell and all. Cute. *BARF*

Seriously?? Pressure was probably the worst song in all two seasons. That was simply awful. That number alone should have convinced NBC to cancel the show.

So Imitation of Life was written by Jeanine Tesori and Tony Kushner with choreography by Susan Stroman?

Is anyone else totally confused as to who "the press" hates and why?
