"I feel bad for Safran for being terrible at his job.
Oh wait, I don't."
Nor do I. It's not like he made a couple mistakes. There were so many times when it felt as though no one had bothered to read these scripts before filming the scenes because they were just so preposterously terrible on every account. I feel bad for US for being emotionally invested in this show (which, yeah, I do both love and hate oh so very much)

Posted: 5/16/13 at 11:14amI must say that SMASH has made me hate Leslie Odom Jr as an actor and I can't say I would want to see him in anything else. He wasn't doing it for me in LOF either.

Reading this made me so mad! I know that the show has many flaws but the Bombshell numbers are IMO all spectacular, and I think it certainly would work as a Broadway musical.

He summarized it pretty perfectly, although I wish it had more Jimmy-bashing. Because Jimmy sucks.
Also, from a comment: Ivy would head for the nearest clinic to make an appointment as soon as she'd hung up the phone.
YES, I refuse to believe that Ivy would not even consider an abortion. But I guess Smash considers that too "edgy."

He appeared with Norm Lewis, Julia Murney and Jennifer Laura Thompson in the music of Stephen Schwartz concert with the National Symphony Orchestra. This was the first time I had ever seen him in person, and I've got to say, he definitely has a lot of charisma, and found there was an ease about him last night that was completely opposite of how he was on Smash.

Posted: 5/24/13 at 11:01amThe Smash series finale is just a few days away so I thought I'd give the thread a bump. It felt weird this past weekend not having an episode to watch. Here's hoping it goes out with a bang.
