Luke MacFarlane is absolutely dreamy. sigh.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Marin Mazzie popped up in the guest stars. Wonder where she'll come in.

I forgot to post earlier, so here it is now. I find it hilarious that Jimmy's big revelation was that Hit List can actually be just as good without him!
Edit: I think Jimmy has borderline personality disorder.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

I guess from Marc's "letter" he basically said "You'll never see 'Bombshell' on Broadway?"
ETA: Maybe Marc will get back on BWW for a bit to answer some SMASH questions...

Ivy/Karen scenes are my favorite of the show.
Jimmy doesn't want his security deposit back? What? Even if he doesn't want the money, why give it to the landlord- give it to a charity in Kyle's name.

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

I don't have a good feeling about Jimmy. I think he might do something extreme.

You just don't wear something from your friend's closet to the Tonys when your show is nominated.

I'm pretty sure he's checking himself into rehab or some psychiatric ward.
Also, Karen's dress looks so familiar! Anyone recognize it?

If we saw "Let's Be Bad" one more time, it would only emphasize the ridiculousness of the Best Choreography Tony Award win. Just saying. *trying not to spoil anything for our West Coast friends*
But yeah, I wanted to see it again too.

I was thinking the same thing. I was really hoping we would get a snippets of her performing as Marilyn one last time. Although, nothing will top the original performance of "Let's Be Bad"

I was hoping they'd do "Let's Be Bad" at the TONYS last year.

It reminds me of PROMISES, PROMISES performing right before the Best Choreography presentation and lost to FELA.

They "left the speech" at home.
The only thing more boring than the actual Tony broadcast? Watching a pretend one.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

LOL it's true. This is oddly very boring and anti-climatic.
Like this impromptu Hit List performance would have ever happened!
(I didn't read Marc's letter, but I will.)
