New WICKED Cast Replacements this month and next?- Page 44

A lot of people were hoping for Carly Augenstein (current s/b) to take over, but she has announced that she will be sticking around as the standby. A shame as she is the best we have seen in a debut contract in years. 

I suspect it will be someone completely new to the show, which is why they are keeping her as is.

Both Lauren Samuels and Austen Danielle Bohmer will be leaving the tour after the Salt Lake City engagement. I expect an announcement of new principals will be coming before long.

The new cast will be performing the final week in SLC. It is a full principal change-over (minus Elphaba standby).

Here we go, Jessie Davidson and Zoe Jensen are going to be the new Tour witches. I have seen Jensen as Eliza Hamilton and i think she will be great in the role! Also, quite possibly, the first Glinda of Asian decent (?)

Olivia Valli is back on tour as Elphaba until 6/22, covering Jessie Davidson who is out due to a schedule conflict.

Keri Rene Fuller will be replacing Lissa as Broadway Standby starting 7/1.

I am really hoping that Sophie Evans will cross the pond and replace Allie Trimm once her contract is up. She is one of the best Glinda's we have ever had!!!! And I hope they let her keep her British Accent!!!

I am hoping for Allison Bailey either as full-time Glinda or as standby. They have been using her as a temporary standby for the past year so I think it is likely she will either be Standby once Newberry leaves or even full-time. Same thing happened with Alyssa Fox and MK Morrisey. 

I hope we get a returning Elphaba would be nice if Jackie Burns came back but that's a pipe dream lol

Alison would certainly be a deserving replacement given her very long history with the show. I saw her several times as Glinda and enjoyed her performance

Personally, I would rather them continue the trend of casting WOC Elphabas and cast someone new once Lencia has finished her run.

I’m pretty sure they’re prepping Keri Rene Fuller to replace Lencia, but I do hope they hire a WOC as an understudy or standby to allow them to grow through the ranks.

Same it took so long to get a WOC principal Elphaba, I know we have Adelina on tour but we need MORE lol

Zoe Jensen and Jessie Davidson were absolutely sensational on tour. Maybe my favorite pair I've ever seen? Definitely one of the best. I would love to see them be the next Broadway witches.

He is unreal!! I hope he stays when the new cast comes in. He’s the best Fiyero Wicked has ever had by a longshot! When do we think we will find out the new cast? January? They usually start in March.

It's interesting that Litz has managed to hold onto Fiyero for almost three years at this point (and on tour before that) when all the other principals seem to turn over reliably after a one-year contract.

Call me crazy! I know it's far-fetched, but Teal Wicks (former Elphaba) is in & Juliet until February 22nd, which leaves her just enough time to join the Broadway Cast in March??

She was my first Elphaba. I would love for this to happen, we need an "old school" powerhouse Elphaba, we haven't had one in years lol
