Teal Wicks hasn't played Elphaba in almost 15 years. It seems unlikely she would return to the role at this point in her career. The production also seems to be moving away from the "lifer" casting model where the same performers constantly cycle in and out for years at a time.

Olivia Valli is currently acting as standby while Lencia is on vacation. We're months away from a cast announcement

I could be wrong, but I was told that their contracts are up in March.

Yes, that's correct! the last few cast changes have been announced in Mid to end of January and go in effect in the beginning of March

Lencia Kebede officially confirmed her last performance is on March 1st on her Instagram Story. That means the New Elphaba and Glinda will likely start on March 3rd.

I wonder if Olivia Valli will be the new principal. She’s been the go-to emergency/vacation cover since leaving the tour a year or so ago. 
 

Could also easily see Keri Renee Fuller getting bumped up. She’s sensational

It might have been on here, but I saw someone comment somewhere that Olivia brought life back to the touring company. I hope it's true that she's being bumped up.

They should swing big and take a risk on Olivia Dei Cicchu full time. She is easily the best sounding Elphaba they've had in many years (imo)-why not just let her have at it, like Shoshana did when she was young. Plus she's already put in years of her ensemble time.

In completely honesty, I have seen Wicked every time the tour came to my city, and the only time I was bored, and thought the show needed better than it had was when Lauren Samuels and Austen Danielle Bohmer were Elphaba and Glinda during Summer 2024. It seemed like it was one of those long, unfunny SNL sketches that needs to be over the moment it started.

I saw Olivia on tour and thought she was fantastic. She sounded particularly amazing during her recent stint playing the role while Jessie Davidson was on leave.

If it was a standby taking over don’t they usally announce their break or final performance before they take over full time or am I dreaming ?

Yeah usually, my bet is on Olivia Valli and Allison Bailey since they have come back to emergency cover recently. Could also see Christy Altomare potentially as Glinda.

Keri sounds sensational and got a huge response when she took over as Standby. My guess is she is taking over, and maybe Olivia as the new Standby?

Keri Rene Fuller is just about the best Elphaba I've seen in years. Vocally absolutely thrilling and powerful, but her acting was more nuanced than I've seen in recent casts. Hope she does get to take over.

Keri is replacing Lencia and is leaving the standby role in a few weeks. Talia will be back to standby (and has scheduled shows the weekend of 2/7) while they rehearse the brand new standby.

Glinda is new to the show.
