Could see Christy playing the part but, i'm honestly hoping for Taylor Louderman or Emma Pittman

She was sensational in that-a total, can't take your eyes off her, star. I literally left the show thinking to myself, "I hope her next job is Glinda on Broadway".

I only saw one comment so far about the lack of diversity. It's so interesting when they talk about that and then turn around and praise the casting that actually happens and say things like "it's been a long time coming!" "so deserved" like- which one do you want?

I wonder who they will get I am honestly hoping they bring back Kevin Chamberlin as the Wizard he was by far the best wizard Wicked has ever had but, maybe I am biased because I loved him as Bertram on Jessie. I hope Jordan Litz stays on he is the best Fiyero.

Between tour and Broadway I think Jordan has been with the show for over three years? I'm guessing he's leaving. He has two daughters at home and most likely wants to spend time with them.

A small part of me did roll my eyes and seeing two white girls in the leads yet again, but they’re both first time principals and I think that’s great. As long as they continue to leave all roles open to everyone, and actually adhere to that, it should be fine.

So white girls aren't allowed to dream of playing these iconic roles? I agree- leave it open to everyone. Don't attack those who are cast in these roles saying "it should have gone to a BIPOC". We're not limiting it. That just happened to be the casting this time around.

I know the roles have been announced but Christy is also pregnant so I doubt she would have auditioned for this
