The "we" i'm referring to is audiences and theatre owners who decided to welcome him back to broadway. I know he's done "extensive therapy and spent a lot of time reading in the Hamptons" but idc he's still an abusive individual. I have boycotted LBRR and Death of A Salesman for those reasons and will continue to boycott any future production that has his name attached

ETA: sure, but the question is whether he *still* abuses that immense power.


i don't know Rudin, no skin in the game. And Ockham's razor suggests he hasn't changed meaningfully. but i don't know that, either, and mostly i'm just interested in whether people allow for the possibility of ... well, i won't say redemption, but reform. if by some miracle he really did the work and it really brought about meaningful change -- what then?

I will never ever get over that MJ continues to run on Broadway, openly celebrating Michael Jackson, and people are "boycotting" productions because Scott Rudin is/was very mean and very difficult and is involved behind the scenes. WILD!
