whose the nicest broadway stars you've ever met? ..... and whose the rudest or mean?
Far and away the nicest woman walking the planet is Cherry Jones.
Mandy Gonzalez
Will Chase
Megan Hilty
Robb Sapp
Oh great, this discussion for the 40,000th time.
The nicest star I've ever had the pleasure of meeting is CHITA RIVERA. She's amazing....onstage and off. So genuine and caring.
I had a really nice conversation with Celia Keenan-Bolger at Don't Tell Mama last spring. I also had a really nice conversation with Stephanie Mills when she was in the Wiz. She was outside of the Broadway Theatre eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before the show. Chita Rivera knocked me over in the lobby of a theatre in Philly when her daughter was doing Platinum. She was so gracious. She apologized profusely and offered to by me another beverage. (Which spilled when she knocked me over) But hey! It was Chita!!!!
Greg Jbara is a doll.
mominator, you beat me. damnit! lol. Greg Jbara is the nicest. no joke.

The entire cast of Sweeney is very nice.
Oops. I forgot Ms. Murney.
Hehe, Emcee. To quote livelife, they'll "Get ova it."
I plan to milk this for as many jokes as it's worth.
Tovah Felshuh in my experience has been the nicest. She invited me and the other fans at the stage door to her dressing room for wine and cheese.

Really, I think most Broadway actors are nice. If anyone's not nice, they're in a minority. It would be unfair to label someone "not nice" based on one experience, because we all have bad days. The fans are really appreciated. It seems that Hollywood stars, when they come to Broadway, are also very congenial at the stage door.

i hate to say this (b/c i would not consider her a bway star) but Brooke Shields after a performance of "Chicago" was so nice to every single one of her fans. I was very impressed.
Bernadette....simply amazing! Unforgettable meeting...:)
And clearly I h8 him back.
I dunno. He can be a bitch. Not to me, but he's certainly not an all-around teddy bear all the time. He's always been nice to me. :)
<------ Donna Murphy simply amazed me by how wonderful she was - warm, gracious and extremely friendly. She is definitely the nicest in my book!

Marissa Jaret Winokur. She signed my Playbill and then we just chatted about both of us being from Connecticut, how she was feeling when she went back to Hairspray for a limited run, and some other stuff. Totally nice of her to just stop and have a conversation with a fan.
Christina Applegate. I love this woman. She has no obligation to sign autographs or anything, but no matter how she's feeling, she will sign an autograph for everyone that's waiting at the stage door. She may not be the most talkative or the most enthusiastic, but just the fact that she takes the time to interact is very kind and generous of her.
Lisa Brescia-Melissa Errico-Jennifer Hope Wills-Brooke Shields
Stephanie D'Abruzzo & the rest of her cast members at Avenue Q! Roz Ryan, too!
Ah yes, Donna Murphy too. I remember asking her if her makeup changed towards the end of "Passion" because she radiated such beauty to which she replied with a warm smile, "No, it just lightens a slight bit with powder". I realized at this point what a gift she had and it seemed like she sensed she had done her job well. Sweet moment....:)
