Awwwwww...I guess she's not above the title. I think when performers are above the title, it is used as a selling point (Christina Applegate in Sweet Charity for example). I guess Stephanie Block is just not well known enough to have above-the-title billing. Hopefully this show will be a hit and benefit her career in the process.
Even if Steph isn't above the title, she certainly deserves to be!
I agree, Ken!
did anybody else think that the snippet of song with lyrics "boys 'ill be boys; lads 'ill be lads" sounded a little bit like "master of the house" - only backwards?
Sydney, it's a stretch but I see why you would say that.

Thanks for the link, Popular...
Now, is it my computer or did that latest version cut off in the middle of Hadley Fraser's comments? I don't think there was much more, but he was still speaking when it cut off.
It must be the AOL connection... I'll have to use Mozilla next time.
It was lovely to watch and hear the impressions (so sorry to hear Marcus Chait talk about getting hurt rehearsing one of the fights!). I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.
Oh, I hope that you get to see the whole thing. You got cut off right as Hadley was being a very "cheeky monkey"!! <-- that's totally my favorite English expression
Pretty funny, but Linda Balgord seems kind of a downer... I know long conversations were probably edited down to these short snippets, but she goes from talking about how difficult the rehearsal periods are and how sterile road houses are... I would call the Cadillac Palace anything but sterile...
Oh well. Interesting video. And she's a pretty amazing performer (saw her in Aspects of Love YEARS ago...)
But, why do they all keep talking about how this is the FIRST TIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAS HAPPENED? I seem to recall Lestat doing similar video diaries just a few months ago...
"You got cut off right as Hadley was being a very 'cheeky monkey'!"

Cheeky monkey is right!!! It really is too bad that he has it so rough...
Cheeky monkey!! LOVE that Popular!!!! LOVING Hadley! When he sings, boy, oh boy - my heart melts!!!
I'm sure as time goes by we'll have plenty other fun expressions to apply to him. He seems like a well meaning, prank playing upstart... and I mean that in the best possible sense of the word :)
DAY 2 is up, by the way!!! The main page hasn't reflected that as of yet but if you check the archives it's been posted.

I thought these castcoms would be somewhat longer...
CAJ - I'm guessing it will be longer or shorter depending on who had time to make a video and how much they had to say? I really don't know... am just appreciating whatever they show at all.

Hey guys--this is my first post here!
I was wondering if anyone else had caught the castcom that they put up earlier today... I noticed it wasn't in this thread (and that it was also no longer available to view). It was of Marcus Chait and Linda Balgord talking about one of the "lows" of the day. Just in case you didn't see it, they said that after one of the fight scenes they were practicing, Stephanie J. Block accidentally fell down a trap door, about 10 feet, hit some props that cushioned her fall, and then finally fell into the pit. They said that it was terrifying because the cast is like one huge family, but fortunately, Stephanie was okay and went home to rest.
It certainly startled me! but they said she was okay, so I guess all is well. Marcus Chait said that she would probably be back in the next day. I hope all is well... and I am absolutely loving this castcom, no matter how long or short they are, hehe. :) It's so great to let us in on everything that's happenng!

Wicked curse?
I did NOT catch that on the official site and I'm certainly glad she's OK IF this is true.

I love this! I cannot wait to see more of these, and I especially cant wait till this show lands in NYC!!
I really love the castcom video where they arrive in Chicago, and Stephanie's like to that guy, "What are you doing here?" "I'm in the show!" "So AM I!!!" :P That made me chuckle...
are they ever going live again? i love the videos but i loved the live feed.
The new one up today hints that they might.

I have to say I find these castcom sessions incredibly boring. I though the idea was to show rehearsals and to give a sneak peak at the show pre-broadway. All castcom is now is an extended MTV confessional-style without any of the drama. I can only hear Frank Galati tell me how amazing the show is going to be so many times. Time to show me some proof.
