Doed anyone know when the general public tickets will be available?

Anyone have any more info on casting besides Takei? I'm sort of surprised they haven't announced more given that tickets go on sale Monday and they should be in rehearsals already.

I got a $73 front row seat for May. I hope that isn't too close. I'm so excited!

Got my ticket for May 3. Seeing this that evening and THE ANTIPODES that afternoon. Looking forward to a great day of theatre!

Tickets are going fast. Maybe it's all the subscribers? I want to wait for discounts but I'm horrible at predicting how shows will sell.

I sat in the front row aisle seat for PASSION and it was great. Got it again for this, a bargain for $71.

All these posts here saying "Tickets are going fast!", makes me smile when I used to sit in the Winter Garden Theatre in 1976 watching the show with the theatre less than half full- all 17 times I saw it!
Glad to hear this show still excites people.

''Pacific Overtures'' is classic Sondheim, so it still excites. But let's face it: Classic Stage Company only has a seating capacity of 199 seats, so the ticket availability is gonna be much tighter.

Does anyone know what kind of orchestra this will have? I'd hate to hear that glorious score on two pianos and a violin

Just picked up tickets for the first Sunday matinee. No wait at all at the box office.

I saw CSC's 2013 production of Passion (John Doyle directed also) and they had a 9-piece orchestra that did the score justice, and Rob Berman, who is music supervisor for PO was either music director or music supervisor for Passion. So that makes me hopeful they'll do this beautiful score justice as well.

I got my tickets for later this Spring. Very excited!
CSC had lined up a stellar cast.
Ann Harada, Kelvin Moon Loh, and more join George Takei

Thanks for the heads-up! I had mistakenly marked down March 9 as the day tickets went on sale. I bought myself a ticket for a Sunday in April.

March 9th was marked as the on-sale date for some time. Not your mistake!

Do we think there is any chance this will extend? I was hoping to see this but I only get to NY the day after it closes. So even just a week-long extension would work for me...

Got my ticket! Front row in mid-May, $71. I agree with what a above-poster said about "Passion." I think this will be a tremendous theater experience.

SO happy. Grabbed 2 on the aisle for Thurs May 11.
Thought I'd re-share Ed Cachianes's excellent video collage of Pacific Overtures, that I recall both Sondheim and Frank RIch have praised
