DON'T LEAVE ME REnt!
OK intervention time for you.
I just thinking the same thing neddyfrank, that there might be a few extensions "by popular demand".
ok i may be stupid but when did they annouce Rent would be closing?
They announced it here

It is dated for tomorrow and is gong to be in tomorrows Arts And Leisure section.
I have a gut feeling that the producers know what kind of rush they are going to get just from this closing notice alone. So I doubt that they are going to extend it. I think that once it hits the closing date then that is it.
I just got my ticket.
If they end up extending, no big deal. I'll just have an excuse to see RENT one more time.

Money is money, and they sell the most tickets during the summer...
It will sell VERY well this summer especially with the extra pressure on the audiences of "MUST CLOSE"...

haven't we all seen it enough?
at least we still have the movie to capture its magical moments.
like my fave...when adam pascal sings 'blaze of glory' on the mountain top ...oh wait...that was a bad 80's jon bon jovi video....
but yeah, you get the idea.
or when the cast sings the 'rent' opening as people throw the only exiting sources of heat in garbage cans out their windows....
that was a treat.......
gives me the shiggles.

Is that like when you poop and giggle at the same time? That movie made me do that.
Do you think IdInA will come back to play a cow one more time?

No, she'll be opening the Micronesian production Wicked at that time.
NO, IdInA CAN'T. She has to play Elphaba first before she goes back to the Nederlander. I hear its in her contract or something.

She's really lucky to have created what I think most of us can agree are the two best women's musical theatre roles ever.
They're even better roles than Mama Rose and Mrs. Lovett!!!

yeah. few things have made me shiggle...and the RENT movie was one of them.
and Idina's overacting too.
in EVERYTHING.
enchanted was funny too.
i like when she yells at me.
oh goodness PRS I nearly choked on my cough drop
Phyllis, I'm in the Rear Mezz. That's all I could afford, though Front Mezz. was still available.
Where are you sitting?

I dunno. I thought you were taking me.
I got my tickets in the rear mezz so if it extends, at least I'm not out $110.
enchanted was funny too.
i like when she yells at me.
"HEY GIRLFRIEND, READY TO KICK IT!??!"
I laughed so hard.

She does NOT look good on screen, but I am glad she got paid!
