I don't think I've ever really seen her praise a Sondheim show. I don't know whether that's just because I've missed her saying anything or that Sondheim's just not "her thing".

i sat right next to her across the isle...she was sobbing, laughing, smiling, starting a lot of the applauses, first one on her feet. She loved it. She mingled with everyone. Very Very sweet! During Purple Summer she def. turned to her wife, Kelly, and basically was like, "this is the song I put in my video" and then started singing along!!! And the house was very very packed! YAY!
it sounds like she enjoyed herself! thats awesome! when i saw it Kiran (sp?) was there from Queer Eye and they didnt make a big deal at all about it. he just kept to himself, but there were these two kids who sat in the box and they were taking pictures of him.
Ok so I knew that if I went to bed at two in the morning which is normal for me (i'm still on winter break) that i'd not be up for the view and I am so excited to hear Rosie's thoughts that I pulled an all nighter! haha oh the joys of being bored but anyways I hope she mentions it

They're talking about the Golden Globes, and you can tell Rosie is itching to talk about the show, as she obviously did not see the awards presentation.
...And the raving begins! She said she cried the entire time. "I haven't been so moved in the theatre, honestly, in a long, long time."
Lea Michele and Jon Groff are in the audience. She said they're going to perform on the show in February. They're already booked!

lol b/c if I went to bed at two I wasn't gonna make it up for this (i'm not really a morning person) it's also ten here where I am but really because I was excited and I'm a complete (proud) SA dork and I'm a bored college kid on winter break. :) I just was really excited and am hoping that this will bring in even more people. I know that Rosie gushes and loves just about everything she sees but i'm glad that she was deeply touched by the show. Any moment of public gushing for this show and I'm there with my recorder!

And yeah, it's great that she loved the show so much, but Tonys for the performers? I can see a nomination for Groff or Gallagher, maybe. But Lea Michele? Uhm.
If not, then she was overreacting as she usually does. I definitely believe Lea and Jon will get noms. But wins are pretty much out of the question with Christine Ebersole and Raul Esparza bascially being the highlights of all the reviews of their respective shows.

I think Gallagher is much better than Groff; he'd probably be considered lead as well, though. I suppose one of them could see a nomination, but I think she's seriously overreacting about Lea. I saw the second preview, so maybe she's gotten better. I should check it out again.
