Blow Gabriel, you’ve been a member of this board for one day and you’re off to an awful start.
there’s a way to have a conversation of differing opinions or POVs without being a condescending assh*le
That said, Max explicitly says “she never will” discover how he’s protecting her delusions with his lies. It’s very clear that she did not call or invite anyone and he knows it.

Well in this reimagined production, this is the way I took it. I don’t remember how I felt about it watching the last revival or film. Cant it work in different ways?

Back to the show -
Last night was electric. As tight as it was in October. Nicole sounded wonderful and held the note in Goodbye for 30s ? Donica’s voice is like butter for this score. Liked the young leads too.
Very appreciative audience that I’m sure will get only more as the weekend goes on.

No, I had a nice long chat with the mods. We agreed we wouldn’t let disgruntled and intolerant people on this board shut down opposing views. But they wouldn’t reinstate flash for whatever reason. So here we are

When she started to hold the note longer than usual last night I started to lean forward in my seat as I was totally shocked at how long she held it.
i do want to add that I was surrounded by people who have seen the show numerous times and they were making the show more about themselves than what was taking place on the stage.
That being said I can’t wait to see the show Sunday. Should be an amazing final performance.

As much as I've been tempted to make one final visit and spend extraordinary amount of money on seats I spent 1/3 of my 5 previous visits because I have always loved this score and this production is by far the best of them all - THIS - a crazed over the top audience ruining just taking the show in is one reason I haven't (although there's three performances left so I might weaken from FOMO)

I bet they’re gonna announce a national tour on Sunday

I'd much rather it be the rumor of a 3 week return in London where they film a pro-shot of this production with the original cast...but a tour would be good news too

Given how buzzy this production has been, it’s hard to see it not touring especially when shows like Parade and Company toured.

Most of the country won’t get this. Word of mouth is the best marketing tool but it also works the other way, and the amount of “that was terrrrrible!” this production would get is enough to kill it on the road. There were plenty of NYers who hated it, and there’ll be no shortage nationwide.

Oh I totally agree with that. I saw Company on tour at the Forrest Theater in Philly to a mostly empty house. The people around me were not enjoying it. I was then surprised to see Parade go out on the road, nevertheless they keep sending out these ‘not for the masses’ productions on tour. Parade also doesn’t appear to be selling well at all either.
The Company tour was cheap, underwhelming, and not well cast. It didn't have an ounce of the magic of the Broadway production.
