When Joe takes off all the expensive clothing that Norma bought him and is left standing there in his boxer shorts, I always wanted to shout 'she paid for them too!'

In the new Jamie Lloyd production, why is Joe in his underwear (or a swimsuit) when she kills him?"
My interpretation was that, when Joe decides to leave Norma for good, he starts stripping himself of the expensive clothes she has gotten him, and then gets shot. It was one thing I think I understood in this production, which I really, really disliked."
Thanks. My memory was dim - was a long time ago when I saw the film. Guess for the stage show, they wanted Joe in his shorts again. In the film, the opening shot is of Joe floating face down in a swimming pool in a swim suit - could have been underwear. My take was the swimsuit was a throwback to that."

Um, what movie did YOU see? Joe is wearing a full suit when Norma shoots him.
Yeah her As if we never said goodbye has been up for a week now. I still despise her holding out that note for so long completely unnecessary. I miss Glenn.
The dates are loaded into SeatGeek, if anyone wants to have a look. Also, just based on the lower starting price, it looks like Tuesday 10/29 will be the first date for Nicole's alternate, whoever that might be.

Where/how are you seeing prices? I see no price info.
The starting prices were on the calendar for each day on the website, but it looks like they're gone now. Tuesday 10/29 started at $62 (with the next $62 day being Monday 11/4, because of Election Day that week), Wednesdays start at $73, and other days at $84, all including fees. In general, all Tuesdays started at $62, with some changes here and there for adjusted schedules/holiday pricing, like the Election Day example above.
Starting prices are up there for some days, but not all which is odd. Depending on the day and the week, they go from 55, 65, 75 & 79 as the starting price.

If I had to guess none of this stuff is accurate and just seatgeek getting their site ready for pre-sales. I can't imagine tickets being that low. That's lower than I paid for the original production in 1994
If the balcony is on sale, those could just be for the last row of that. I don’t think it’s out of the question to think they’d sell something that far up for $60-$80
