With previews just around the corner, I thought it would be helpful to create a new thread! HERE is the official site, and HERE is a preview at Sutton's look as our favorite bravest individual, Charity Hope Valentine. Anybody have tickets to first preview?
My tickets aren't for another 2 months but I can't wait to hear what everyone else has to say about it!
Emily Padgett getting leggy as Helene!
This is...not what I was expecting. I really hope they change that wig before opening.

that wig is looks like a dead cat ....
That is simply atrocious.
It's not exactly flattering, but it could be a lot worse.
Maybe they're going for a "Charity can't afford a really great wig" angle.

Maybe the book has been updated to show she's also a part-time Avon representative.
"My name is Charity Valentine and I would LIKE to SPEAK with your MANAGER!"
That nealy made me snort water out of my nose, Ado Annie.
You're welcome, Mildred. :)
I live to bring a little joy into people's lives!
Their inspiration appears to be Carol Brady.

I can't get over how funny this was. It's not right to not acknowledge that I laughed all morning at this. Good job, Ado.

Only a really desperate guy would pick that freak to dance with at The Fandango Ballroom.
BEAST!
This thread is the cyber equivalent of a "visual album," ala Beyonce's Lemonade.
First preview tomorrow!!! Anybody going?
Trolling Instagram for peaks and found this. It's not much but I think it's cool to see just how small the theatre is. Hoping we hear more tomorrow, especially to see if Sutton's wig gets changed. Here's a better peek at some of the other costumes, including Helene and Nickie. I love Emily Padgett's wig. It looks terrific on her.
Just can't imagine this working in a commercial house that small. And WHY The New Group? Does Sutton have ties with them? Seems an odd pairing all around. It's basically a vast empty stage, and the band up top. So, Cabaret?
It does remind me of Cabaret. It may be an odd pairing, but let's give it a fair chance. I'm hoping for the best, it's a great show.
