I've heard rumors (and not just SO, which he did report), that this will be Daniel Radcliffe.
Will it be a rotating cast situation like in London?

I don’t think we’ll be Waiting For a theater announcement for much longer ;)

oh this is going into the Hudson
Previews begin February 21, opening night is March 12, and it will run until May 24 at the Hudson. Just Radcliffe, no rotating cast.
I've heard phenomenal things about this one, and with Radcliffe alone I won't be surprised if it smashes MERRILY's house record.
He probably isn't beating Lithgow, but I'm sure he'll give a wonderful performance and another well-earned Tony nod will be the fruit of his labor.
An exclusive 24-hour presale begins on November 13.

there is no universe where this show makes close to what Merrily did, while Radcliffe is certainly more of a draw post TONY win, lets not forget the last two plays he did on Broadway (Cripple of Inishman and Lifespan Of A Fact) were both somewhat of a bust financially, and he did two other plays in London that didnt even transfer here.
I am curious how this is going to be staged at the hudson because typically this show is done in the round in intimate spaces, and while it is in a "intimate" Broadway theater based on how the show functions it will be interesting to see them pull it off in a proscenium space with three levels

This is a perfect role for Radcliffe.
Agreed, perfect casting. I'm in.

Radcliffe's last Broadway play was The Lifespan of a Fact, which didn't light the box office on fire but did respectably

I had edited my post to reflect Lifespan of A Fact but it didnt update, now it is updated.
My point being traditionally Radcliffe isn't a draw doing non-musicals and with Merrilly it was a buzzy off-broadway transfer of an infamous musical that got raves and had two other "name" co-stars.
The key art is giving “this is budget.”

I actually really like it.

When I saw it in London last month, I found the "heartwarming" nature of the play a bit too treacly at times for my taste, but the subject seems like a good one for the times and Radcliffe a perfect fit for the material.
I saw this with my parents last year at the gorgeous new Gulfshore Playhouse and found it incredibly moving. Yes, a bit treacly and slight, but I think that’s easy to overcome with the right performer. Radcliffe is remarkably charming, so that’s one huge hurdle overcome already.

To those more familiar with this production, just how involved is the audience? The last thing I want to see is audience members thinking they’re stars of the show.

I lost all interest because of the venue. I just don't see this working in a traditional theatre, especially that barn. How does someone in the rear of the balcony engage with this piece???

Unless they are "expanding" the show in some way, it runs less than one hour -- so I guess that means that Seaview will be charging around $5.00-$8.00 per minute for any decent seats?

The current London production lists a running time of 85 minutes with no interval

That's great to hear. The stage version they showed on HBO a few years ago (and now available for streaming) has a runtime of 62 minutes.
Radcliffe has a great box office track record. I think CRIPPLE is the only one that didn’t announce recoupment, and even that one probably got 75% of the way there and was an interesting use of his star power. So sure, it’ll be the first time where he is the SOLE draw, but I also doubt it’ll be super expensive to produce or run. And could have the possibility of extension with other stars.

I'd argue that he was the sole "draw" on CRIPPLE (with a scattering of McDonagh fans on the side).
