Love reading this thread!! Makes me really happy...downloaded three different cast albums from Apple Music. Can't wait to see this... Thanks for all the comments and insights.
Wow Jordan thanks so much; I can't wait to hear more from you about SLM. I have about a month to wait.
Both the 1963 Original Broadway Cast and 1994 London recordings are on Spotify. I listened to the 1994 London recording on the way home, and it was delightful. I certainly hope this revival gets a recording.

Guess getting rush tickets is like finding a unicorn. Anyone tried?
The mezz tonight was maybe 60 percent filled, sadly. That said...this is a perfect production. Perfect in every single way and that happens so rarely.
You know when you have an amazing first date and when it ends, you kiss goodnight and walk home kind of just floating? That's what I felt like walking home from this show.
sciencegirl - I had a friend get one today at around 11:30, so I wouldn't say it's impossible.
Jordan, thank you for contributing to this thread. Friday evening can't get here soon enough, I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a show.
I haven't stagedoored in over six years but I might do it for this show, would appreciate other comments re the stage door here.
I thought about going to the stage door, but it's raining tonight and I'd only get a poster signed but...sadly, they're kinda ugly lol
Jordan, so, so glad to hear you enjoyed. I can hardly wait until next month. Can you divulge a few favorite moments/performances/general things?

I went to the first preview last Friday and left floating on a cloud of happiness! I was literally bouncing and singing some of the songs on the way out - even my friend who came with me loved it (and she's not really a musical fan)!
I'm a big fan of Zachary Levi so I came mostly to see him and he really delivered a wonderful performance as Georg. But Laura is incredible and one of the standouts for me is the young actor who plays Arpad, Nicholas Barasch - so enthusiastic and full of energy!
I did stage door that night and it was pretty orderly - not such a huge crowd that you're waiting hours or anything. Zac came out about 20 min after the show ended with his stage door dance party (he plays music while he's out there) and is always so great with his fans.
He makes sure to sign everyone's things and take photos as well. Laura didn't come out but Jane Krakowski signed for the front row of people. Gavin Creel was also really nice as was Nicholas Barasch. I think by 11:20 or so everyone who was going to come out did. Hope that helps!

Just realized Nicholas Barasch was Kiddo in the WSS revival. He has really grown up!

I love the party that Zachary Levi throws at the stage door. Does anyone know if he does that after every show? Did he do one after last Saturday's matinee or today's Wednesday matinee? Thanks!
Oh, this production is just so fun and romantic. I makes me all fluttery. It's not very funny for a musical comedy, but it is pure whipped cream, and it's a lovely time.
Also I have to comment on Jane Krakowski because she's my draw; 30 Rock is still a favorite. She does wonderfully with her numbers, acting and singing, and I wish she had more humor to play with. In good voice and a team player in the ensemble.

I saw photos on twitter from last weekend of fans posing with him.

Yes, after Saturday's matinee he had the music pumping and was a class act to the crowd. It was a very orderly crowd and Gavin Creel, Nicholas Barasch and Andrew Kober came out to sign.

What a lovely, beautiful show. I'd only ever heard a few songs but of course knew the story. All of the castmembers were on their A-game and Laura Benanti brought so much humor and heart. A fantastic performance.
The musicians are in the boxes as usual for 54, but I found them to sound much richer than usual for a Roundabout revival.
This is a BBC production from 1978 of She Loves Me. It's just about two hours with no ads.
It stars Gemma Craven as Amalia who is really quite quite good, and borderline hilarious in "Where's My Shoe". She's probably best known as Cinderella in "The Slipper and The Rose" with Richard Chamberlain.

Robin Ellis plays Georg. It is really a quite charming and respectful production. The sets may remind you of a Brit-com but come off very sweet along with the cast. The added bonus at the end is an interview with Bock, Harnick and Barbara Cook (interviewed by a young Craig Zadan). It's great to find this because it's out of print. After seeing this production I'm wondering if, (back then), the BBC produced any other musicals or plays.
This really is a little Gem(Ma) and very enjoyable. This also gets me anxious to see SLM in about 4 weeks.
Just consulted my playbill; there are fourteen players in the orchestra.
Compared to 21 in the original orchestrations? (I see though, that they've cut a large chunk of strings and horns and added a few keyboards to synth it out).
Someone above posted that they rushed the show -- I don't see any info posted on the usual sites. Aside from Hiptix, etc.
How much? Location?
