I was supposed to go to 92Y tomorrow night to see March Shaiman's talk hosted by Nathan Lane, with Jessica Vosk and J. Harrison Gee performing, but I'm cancelling because I don't want to have to deal with getting around the MTA and sitting in snow clothes for a show.

A family member of mine who lives in Manhattan managed to snag an excellent seat to Two Strangers Carry a Cake Across New York for a good price tonight, so she’s not complaining.

I got a GREAT ticket for THE MONSTERS at City Center via TDF tonight, which made me happy considering it it selling out FAST.

Selling out Fast? The website would beg to differ with tickets available for almost every show…..

Sutton Ross said: "New Yorkers always lose their minds regarding snow, and it usually ends up being a 1/4 of an inch. This storm is heavier this time, but it will be a wintry mix that will last all day on and off. Perhaps there will be discounts, but the mayor said mass transit will remain open, which means shows will remain open as well. And Telecharge also confirmed the same thing."

NY Mayor tells everyone to stay home Sunday.
NJ Govenor tells everyone to stay off the roads and cancels public transportation.
Broadway League tells everyone who works in theaters to come to work.
It never makes sense!

Fair. The later performances have more availability. When I was initially looking, the first few weeks had scant availability and the woman I spoke to at City Center mentioned as much. Maybe they also released some more seats since.

anyone working on Broadway who doesn't live in NYC is going to have terrible difficulties getting home tonight. I'd expect a lot of call-outs today and probably more shows announcing they're cancelled.

The Mayor says to stay home. The League is disgraceful putting everyone at risk today.

Lots of popular performers shaming them on there. It is absurd they have not canceled yet.
