My icon is a publicity still of the legendary Bette Davis as Margo Channing, the star of all stars in the movie "All About Eve," perhaps the wittiest and finest film ever to come out of Hollywood that has the American theatre as its subject (and one of the greatest screenplays ever written, period).

To quote the film: "Margo Channing is a star of the theater. She made her stage debut at the age of four in 'Midsummer Night's Dream,' playing a fairy. She entered, quite unexpectedly, stark naked. She has been a star ever since."

That's me......though these days, I do tend to at least dress for dinner....... but only when absolutely necessary.

Mine, being my first one ever, is a lovely picture of me and the wonderful Susan Egan, my absolute favorite star. It was taken on my bday, June 19th, 2004 after Millie.
