I just got an email that I won the Something Rotten Sweepstakes to see a special presentation from the show on Tuesday? Did anybody else win? I wondering if just I am able to go or if I can bring a guest.
Not likely for the final performance.
Edited: Hmmmm....I wonder which thread I MEANT this comment for.

Was there today. All I'll say is that, based on the numbers we saw, this could very well be the sleeper hit of the season.
Gah! That makes me so happy to hear! I have high hopes for this!
Was it funny? Was it great?
All the numbers are on youtube:

The advertising is funny if not a little dull considering their color choices. Nicholaw is fine, but I feel like he uses the same bag of tricks in almost every show.
The vids are all on Broadway.com... They also have clips from the It Shoulda Been You media day.

Wonder why Broadway.com took them off of YouTube?

Those videos were delightful! This definitely just moved up on my list of shows I'm hoping to see this spring.
maybe it's just me, but nothing looked entertaining in any of those videos.
It didn't look that good to me either, but I'm going to reserve judgment. I don't think it's fair to judge the show based on a three minute clip of unfinished work.
I thought "I hate Shakespere" was pretty funny but the other numbers were meh. Still excited to see this in previews though.

I didn't find that footage encouraging in terms of the material.
I'm also trying to reserve judgment... but all the videos were pretty meh and nothing we haven't seen before. I don't understand why new shows must constantly incorporate better and well known musicals into their song and dance. It's been done so many times now! What worries me is that they typically show off their best numbers at these media events - if this is their best, we may have a problem.
But again - we shall see! I wish both shows the best and look forward to seeing them this spring.

Maybe I don't see many/enough shows but those 4 numbers would make me line up to buy a ticket.
Entertaining, clever, tuneful, energetic--so what DOESN'T have something from something else ?
Hope this is a huge hit.
Weird, in the middle of watching the preview clips on Broadway.com and it looks like they deleted all of the press footage.
Yep. Neither link works for me.
Dang.
LOL i thought that Will-Power number was pretty great!!

I Hate Shakespeare was my favourite of the number, I find it interesting that the Bottoms have American accents but everyone else has English accents, might be explained in the show.

I agree with your sentiment 100%.
