When I saw the show at the end of May I spoke with Kyle afterwards. I told him I was from CA and that i was so exicted to see the tour in Aug. He told me that he would see me there and I asked how and he told me that he would be part of the national tour. I can not wait! I hope Blake tours as well. Updated On: 6/12/08 at 06:50 PM
One of my musical directors here in Kansas is playing in the orchestra for the tour!
Also.. random question..Stephen Kopel (Jim Carnahan Casting) is coming to Kansas to do an open call for the tour... why? If it is already cast, what is the point? Not that I'm denying the amazing talent here in Kansas City but there are only so many performers that fit the casting requirements, and I don't understand why they are still having open calls?
I assumed it was for the tour... I could be wrong, but the casting agent running the audition is an alumni of MTYP (the theatre group that originally emailed us about the open call). Maybe he is doing it just to be nice, I really have no idea, that's why I asked.
As for the location/specifics for the audition, I also have no idea. haha I will be at theatre camp at Baker University in Baldwin, KS during the actual open call so the agent is coming to the camp since so many theatre kids that are interested will be unable to attend the actual call. I will let you know when I hear more about when/where/etc for the open call! Where in KS do you live? I'm currently sitting in my basement during a tornado warning-so cliche.

KMalvarado, thanks for sharing that. My sister has already sent in the group seating request for the L.A. show on Nov. 9th, so now I can relax and know Kyle will be there. I don't know why they won't post the cast list already. Surely they have the cast now. Or maybe they want every person in place before they announce it.
Does anyone know if casts change throughout the tour? It's a long one, over one year on the road, aprox. 7-8 shows per week. That's got to be taxing on the leads. I don't usually see road shows since I come to NY often, so I'm curious. Updated On: 6/13/08 at 11:39 PM
