"BB2 is also a fierce seat. The Groff sits right in front of you there. I had to fight the urge to play with his gorgeous hair all night." ^I have that seat when I go!
Question- Does anyone know how tall Gerard is? Everyone says he's so short so I'm kind of curious. I know, weird question.
Woohoo Spring Awakening! I really wanna see this show. The songs are just amazing.
"Some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, take the moment & making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity." -Gilda Radner
Skylar was back in tonight! His first night back, he said. His hand looked fine on stage, but it was wrapped up when he came out the stage door, so I'm guessing it's still healing.
Lilli Cooper, however, was out, and came out of the stage door with crutches. I'm not sure what happened, but it looks like she injured a foot. (Jennifer Damiano, however, did a wonderful job in her stead.)
Jonathan Wright was out, too, with Gerard covering.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

wow it seems like a chorus line and spring awakening are the shows that have the most people out on a daily basis....a chorus line i understand because of the really intense dancing, but spring awakening surprises me....i'm glad jenn got the chance to play a big part. she filled in for remy one performance already, but i believe this was her first time to have significant amounts of singing. does anyone know how long lili cooper is out????
so this was posted in another thread on the boards, but as its under "Scott Alan put up new music" and some SA/Jon Groff fans might miss it, I figure I should post it in here too even though its slightly off topic
he sounds SO friggin gorgeous. His voice is smooth as butter mmmm <3 Since the song is very Last 5 Years-esque, it makes me def think his voice is a cross between Norbert Leo Butz and Gavin Creel and thats HOT. Not that I havn't always adored his voice, its just this music fits it sooooo so well.
oh and can I just say, I find it so amusing that for the other song links scott alen has on his site, they have their headshot, but for Jon they have him as melchior :P silly people, they need to put up his headshot! as gorgeous as he is as melchior, the character doesnt really fit the song *g*
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
^to hear him do If I Didn't Believe in You? ooooomg. Actually, to hear him do ANY song from L5Y would be heaven! oooo someone should ask him at the stagedoor if he knows of it (he prooobably has at least heard of it is my guess. I mean, its pretty popular among broadway people I think)

There is a member of youtube who is in the cast. She comments on many people singing songs from the show. Does anyone know who sshe is? Her username is stagegurl
Poor Lilli! Lea Michele is all I heard about before seeing the show, and Lilli Cooper was a nice surprise! I just love her voice. It doesn't surprise me that there are alot of injuries in the show. After seeing the set and choreography, I can understand how there could be alot of injuries could happen throughout the high energy show.
So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
lilli really is amazing. She's SUCH a great actress, Dark I Know Well was sooo much more intense than I ever even thought it would be, and I was expecting it to be pretty darn intense!
and she was awesome at the stagedoor too they all are.
yeah, unfortunately in any show really things can go wrong and people can get hurt- but this one especially seems a little bit dangerous at some points. Just with the heavy choreography and everything, and the staging, it does make sense that at some point in time someone could get hurt
