They're all usually out within 30 minutes.

Yup- Michael is usually the last with Patti coming out just before! Have fun! They are all so sweet.

it took about 45 minutes, WAIT! it's totally worth it, they are awesome.
never met a nicer cast than that of sweeney todd, an AMAZING show with an extremely nice cast, have fun!
Calling them "main characters" makes it sound like they come out in character, which would be a hoot (and I'm sure, the way Broadway is going, not too far fetched for the future).
Didnt Barry Humphries used to come out in Dame Edna character when "Back with a Vengance" was on Broadway?
Deffinetly stay and wait for the cast to come out at Sweeney, the whole cast is so nice, its refreshing.
the show has 10 people overall...so i'd say everyone is a main charachter
They're all incredibly nice. Some of them tend to get away quickly if you don't call them (especially John Arbo and Mark Jacoby). But they'll all sign autographs, etc. And like I said, they're all very gracious and sweet.
I have to add that Donna Lynne Champlin is the coolest person I've EVER met at stagedoor.
That cast is my favorite ever! They are super SUPER awesome and just so much fun. Like broadwaychica said, some do run out fast (Jacoby, Magnumson and Arbo. Last time I stagedoored, I could barely ask them becuase they sped outta there.
Yeah, I don't think they realize how much we adore them. (I think Benjamin's been sick lately, though, so that might be why he's rushing out.) I'm in love with all ten of them, I think we should have an eleven-way marriage.
I've heard only wonderful things about Manoel, but the more comments to keep my nerves down, the merrier I'll be. Go! Obviously he's a doll, but shy, talkative, what?
im going in on a tuesday with my cousin who is still in high school and prob wont be able to stay after- anyone know if they respond to mail? i would like to write to the cast since i wont be able to tell them in person. thanks
Well if you email Patti at her website "ask patti" address, she will definitley answer. She's answered every email I've sent.

Mano's really nice. Don't be nervous around him, he's really very nice and polite. And he's actually very talkative, if you get him going.
And yeah, a lot of the castmembers have been sick lately. Ben didn't really talk to anyone last time I went to the stage door, but he's been sick. The first time I went to the stage door, we spoke for a good long while. He's really nice.
I'm so nervous. And I had finally been able to say I don't get that nervous anymore! I didn't wait at the stage door when I saw the show, but a friend from here is seeing it Tuesday and I think I'm going to meet her after the show. I'm most excited to meet Mano, but I'm honestly scared out of my pants. I'm so neurotic.
I love the cast. I really regret my nervousness around Mano. I struggled to get out 2 sentences, but if I ever meet him again (which I hope I will) I will NOT be nervous! ...I hope.

I actually completely understand more than you know. But he's really very, VERY nice. Totally down to earth, sweet, polite, gracious and approachable. He's also incredibly smart, and great to talk to.
eta: *practices name pronounciation* - That KILLED me. LOL

This is per usual with people I've never been around before. I'm like... painfully shy. But I always feel like if I just sort of bat my eyes and hand them a Playbill, it's cheaping out. Like, they're doing you a favor, and you should at least act human and responsive in return. He's clearly incredibly intelligent, so I'd love to actually talk with him for a bit.
And yes, I will kick myself if I f*ck up his name. I'd feel terrible.
Call him "Maggie Well". Seriously. He'd get a kick out of that, lol. And he's one of the best people to have a conversation with at stage door. Even when he's sick (and a lot of them have been sick lately), he'll be very responsive to anyone who offers anything intelligent about the show.
hahahaa. I heard about the Maggie Well thing! I laughed SO HARD.
Honestly, though, I'm really great at just putting my foot in my mouth. That'll be a good impression!
lol. As long as you don't REALLY mispronounce his name, or say something like "OMG you're so cuuuuuuttteee!" It'll be fine. And he's way too nice to be a jerk about it if you do screw up. Which you won't. :)
Well, I won't have to say his last name, which I keep pronouncing Feliciano, simply by habit. I just have to drop my dumbass American accent and remember that it's Mah-no and not Man-oh.
.... So. Neurotic.
Well, I'll be sure to let you know how far into my mouth my foot goes.
