Posted: 7/11/09 at 10:43pmI also saw Paris as Claude and absolutely loved him. Agree with RemarkableTime's comments, not really anything else to add. Was kind of surprised to hear he has a lower voice than the other Claudes, since he can hit the high notes when he's on as Woof. But he really did only have one rehearsal, the cast was hanging around the theatre during lotto, and a bunch of them were going on about how amazing he was, since this was the first time any had heard him sing the part. And I think Jay A. Johnson had to go on as Claude without rehearsal, as well as Jackie Burns as Sheila.

I saw the Saturday matinee (7/11). I love this show! Out of my three visits, this was the best! Josh Lamon was on in the tribe. Everyone else was there (including Theo. When is he leaving?). I had aisle seats in the orchestra. Gavin was excellent! You really couldn't tell he has been out with neck pains. Although, I cringed a little when he started to whip his head around during "I Got Life." I was afraid he was going to hurt his neck again!
I had a small but great interaction with Gavin during the show. He did a few pelvic thrusts in my face and touched my head. It was awesome! LOL
This cast continues to amaze me. From the principle roles to the tribe...everyone does a great job. I don't think there are any weak links. Allison Case always manages to draw my attention to her. She is just so sweet and happy! I must say that Andrew Kober is hilarious. I like him more and more each time I see the show. Bryce Ryness is terrific, too. I'm also a fan of Theo. He really stands out in a good way. He just has so much energy. I will miss seeing him in the tribe.(I love the purple jacket he wears in the show! I want it!)

Posted: 7/12/09 at 2:51pmThis is a little late but I was crazy busy this past week but I saw HAIR 7/1 evening and it was even more amazing than this thread led me to believe. lol All the lead were in and they all rocked it but I have to say Will STOLE the whole damn show. He called out a group of guys that were late and said something like " we're you guys smoking some joints or somethin to make the show better....I know that what I do " hahah I was in row M towrads the right and was surpised I got a flower from Sheila and a high five from Will when he was crawling around the seats. He also proceeded to grab his junk in some sixty year old lady's face next to me hahha I also loved how they bust in from outside during Electric Blues...there were some random dudes waving in from the streets too hahha. I really can't rave enough about how crayz talented/funny/energetic the whole cast is....Andew Kober was espeically hilarious....I hope HAIR stays successful and lasts a good long while cuz I won't be in the city again till December 2010....ugh

Posted: 7/12/09 at 6:56pmI believe they're bringing in 3 new swings(possible just as vacation swings). Is Anthony Hollock still injured?? If so, that's one to replace Stockman, another one for Hollock and the third just to fill in for vacations.

Posted: 7/12/09 at 7:46pmHey, can anyone tell me how ORCH Row R seats 11-13 are? They are coming up and my friend & I really want Orch so we can have chances of being more "involved" in the show and easier for us to get on to the stage at the end:)

Luv2shop made me think of this:
When I saw Hair I sat in the orch, so I had no issues getting on stage. and I saw a video where Will Swenson told you if you were sitting in the mezz and wanted to get on stage at the end to use the stairs the actors use during the show right on the sides. my question is whether anyone has sat in the mezz and been denied the right to dance on stage? (well it's not necessarily a "right", but you get my point)

lol yeah I was thinking the same thing about sitting on the mezz. Yeah, Will did say on the Broadway.com video you can do that, but i'm afraid if there are too many people from ORCH already on the stage, the usher could deny you going down ha.
Haha yeah so so far someone told me they are good but might have to say excuse me a few times to get on the stage. But i mean view of stage and cast interaction?

Posted: 7/12/09 at 8:59pmIs he leaving for a certain amount of time or leaving for good?

Posted: 7/12/09 at 9:09pmi would think the announcment would be that the tribe is going down to DC that one week in october for the rally.

sgv, Paris' wig is dark brown, it's really similar to his actual hair.
I know two of the swings are Matt DeAngelis and Hannah Shankman, Josh Lamon got bumped up to Theo's track, so Matt's replacing Josh, and Hannah's there just because they need another female swing. I saw the show one time, and they had Briana covering both Lauren's and Jackie's tracks. No idea about a third swing.
