If I understand her Twitter correctly, Saycon's last performance is tomorrow. Good luck to her in FELA!

Is Krystal going to start the day after tomorrow or are they going to use Saycon's understudy for a couple of days?
It makes me really sad when people leave. though I'm sure Krystal will be awesome.
I saw we were on page 69 and lol'd.
Oh question: on the original cast recording, before I Got Life they specify that the year is 1968 ("not 1948"). But when they do that same scene in the revival, it's 1967 ("not 1947"). anyone know why this was changed?

The pickup truck is a time machine.
The first incarnation of HAIR was at the Public in 1967. It moved to Broadway and it was updated to 1968. That is when the OBC was recorded. For this revival they went back to the original lyrics.

I forget who I heard it from, but Krystal is supposed to go on Tuesday night. She was in the house with Matt watching the show at today's matinee.
For the understudy website - Jay was also on last Sunday, 8/9
Also for that day:
Katie Kiyan as Crissy
MJS as Hud
Steel as Berger
and Hannah, Ryan, and Chasten in the tribe
(that was one hell of a show.)

OM to the Gizzle! (I have just invented a more interesting but slightly more irritating way of saying OMG).
Jazzy just got a call from his Grandmother saying that she's going to New York in September (the dates are for her to schedule) and she's totes going to kidnap me and take me to see HAIR (she's offering to pay for the tickets and the airfare...but since I hate making people spend tons of money on me, I told her I'd take care of that). The chances of this happening are very high too (my parents are fine with it...I hope this means that they forgot about the awkward iHop momemt...) and by the end of the week I should definitely know the dates and such. Jazzy is ready to take on the Big Apple

Jazzy is the farthest thing from an asshole on this board, Nano. He's just exhibiting his excitement. Chill out.
Cannot wait for you to get here! You will let us know, yes? Because some of us want to give you a great big hug when you do

I usually don't respond when users are being, 'BWW Meanies', but I just wanted to clarify people had asked ME if I'd ever get to NYC MANY MANY MANY MANY pages ago on both love threads...so I was never the first to bring it up. When they'd, ask...I'd answer and keep them updated. There was an update last night and I shared. I agree with you, I don't think it's cool to turn a thread about something else into a thread about yourself. Obviously, one can say that when you randomly post on a thread to make fun of its users (as you've done on both the Creel love thread AND this one), you are being an 'a-hole', but obviously that rule applies to everyone but yourself.
Anywho, I'm not sure if this has been posted yet...but I came across this really nice video of our girl, Cassie, singing 'Good Morning Starshine'. Her voice sounds 10x better in this video than it does on the CR, mainly because on the CR...it really sounds like she's just, yelling. This is much better, and it's a great way to start off your morning

Well...I'm more of a Starlurker...but since I'm headed down from Canada tomorrow to see the show Tuesday I need to share my excitement! Anyone else going to be there that day?

Oh Burgundy!!!! Have fun in NYC and enjoy the show. If our sources are correct, Krystal Brown's first night as Abraham Lincoln is on Tuesday, so when you get back, would you mind telling us how she was?

Not at all! I'm catching 5 shows so there will be some epic reviewage at some point.

I would say that you're incorrect. Since I was referring to MYSELF in the third person.

Bravo, Jazzy. Well said.
Burgundy, can't wait to hear about your trip. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on HAIR. What are the other shows you're seeing?
