"He did wear a wig. He pins his hair up into the short wig for the end. There was apparently a little wig mishap this afternoon. As he was running up, the wig got caught on the trap door and pulled back. At that point he had to yank it back on and it was not quite in place. "

Ahh, well I definitely prefer crappy wig for only 1 number over crappy wig for whole show. And don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Will jumping out in the beginning of Hair, I was just curious if he was goofing or not.

But what if I don't like Jay!Claude? Well, maybe I'll see Jay!Claude in SRO or lottery. I can't afford to buy actual tickets every day, even if they are discounted (living off student loans for the next 2 years) and SRO/lottery is cheaper than a movie when you buy soda and popcorn. And I even made a Hair buddy when I did SRO. I will say, however, you miss a lot when you're sitting in/standing behind the orchestra. I had no idea that the Be-In starts upstairs and that Claude also goes to the Be-In from upstairs.

Am debating whether or not to go in on Sunday. I would like to see Paris of Jay as Claude, but I'd rather them with Steel. I'm just way too biased towards Gavin/Will. I can't help it.

Hey Starshines! Haven't posted here for a few days, so I decided to just check in and say hi. Main reason I haven't been posting is that, although I thought the discussions that were going on here recently were really interesting, I couldn't express my own opinion and feelings about it, cause my English just isn't good enough for that. But I really liked to read you're opinions and I also loved the personal stories that were posted here. Anyway, that was what I wanted to say. Ow, and I also have a small question: Does anybody know exactly what is going on with Allison Case? I heard she has some sort of injury, but I can't really figure out what it is. Do you think she'll be back in the show soon? Poor thing. Love to all the Starshines!

Lisa, she's suffered a hip injury. I'm not sure when exactly it happened, but she stopped appearing in the show shortly after The View performance took place. She's been getting numerous treatments for it, including physical therapy. There's no official word as to when she'll return. Most of the updates I know about come from her facebook.

Lisa- Kryst got the jyst of it. I know Alison had an MRI today and is gonna have another tomorrow, and that it hurts a lot, but that's about it.

Saw the show last night and there were 2 male swings on - Matt (who was pictured in the playbill) and Arbender (just an insert). There was no new female swing pictured in the playbill - isn't there a new female swing too?

I was 16 when I went to Woodstock with a carload of slightly older friends...and with my mom's blessing. That poor, poor woman...she had NO idea what she was saying yes to. To the day she died, I told her I will always be grateful to her for having allowed me to have that experience.

Anyway, I came of age right during the thick of things: Vietnam and Kent State, for instance. I can still remember what it felt like to truly believe that peace and love (and a new president) could make a better world. I'm much more cynical now, but at my core, I still hold on to hope. That era had a huge impact on the way I think, feel, have lived my life, and have raised my children, yet you wouldn't necessarily know it if you passed me on the street. I know a lot of people on whom that time left an impact.

Just got back from NY, my annual pilgrammage. I was lucky enought to catch Hair on Tuesday night, front row house right.
I really adored Jay in the role! His baby face and vulnerability really brought some interesting touches to Claude. He sounded amazing. And Will layed his sweaty self on top of me. (Note: NOT a complaint) My friends were jealous to say the least.

I was lucky enough to go backstage (Love to Neil!) and meet almost everyone in a more intimate setting. Jay was so sincere and Andrew was a delight as well.

My friend went back on Wednesday and saw Paris, whom she liked, just not as much as Jay. (And being from London, she hadn't seen Gavin.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
