Cher...the world-famous multi-million selling recording artist and icon, Oscar-winning actress...doesn't have talent...
I saw Cher on tour in Brooklyn, and the best part of the show was when she stood on stage and just told a story and you could hear a pin drop we were all so captivated. There’s just something about her. Clearly.
And for those worrying, yes this will look incredibly cheap and they’re having a tough time casting which leads me to believe the cast is going to be very hit or miss.

Not bad for a girl with no talent!

Cher and I are just a few months apart in our time on Planet Earth. From the first moment I saw her through today, she has been someone special, a constant in my life. She is a superb talent and a remarkable lady. I regret that I have not (yet, at least) seen her perform in person. But you can be certain that I will see "The Cher Show" on tour and will enjoy every moment. No matter who is actually singing on stage, I know that it will be Cher herself performing those wonderful songs.

Looks like these are the tour stops, hopefully we hear casting soon.
The tour starts in almost a month and still nothing on a cast announcement. They must have started rehearsals by now?
It’s a non-union tour. It will be names you’ve never heard of.

Im not expecting any names, but it would be nice if a cast list was available by now.

A picture of the set is currently on the story of the tour's instagram account- it looks very good

Show is also using all the original Broadway Bob Mackie costumes. Dare I say this looks quite promising!
I figured it would be easy to simplify their set. The elevator would definitely be cut. Curious about the size of the orchestra and how scaled back it is.

The lighting based off of this reel also looks very impressive- very intrigued to see promotional pictures/more content

I plan to see the tour when it comes to the State Theater in NJ in February.
Tour starts in Arkansas this coming Sunday Nov 19, so we should be seeing photos and stuff very soon.

The orchestra has 9- 2 keys, 2 guitars, drums, bass, reed, trumpet, trombone. Definitely could be worse

Why did this take so long. I can imagine Cher Show doing very well on the road.
She's a massive star.

Originally, the (equity) tour was scheduled to begin Fall 2020. COVID had other plans. I guess the delays pushed it to Nov. 2023 and they opted to save some money and make it non-equity

Caught this in Fayetteville, and I was pleasantly surprised! Big League's Legally Blonde tour was very cheap, but they've definitely invested more in this tour. Obviously the costumes are a big part of that, but everything is pretty solid overall. I thought the staging and physical production elements were pretty good. It's simple, but they are creative and it works very well for this show. The principals were great as well. The cast seems young, but they do a good job. The audiences on tour are going to eat this up!
While the choreography is good, the ensemble seems lacking to a certain extent. I imagine it's because most of them have to understudy the principals so they were more focused on the voices while casting, but the dancing is very uneven. You can tell some of the cast aren't dancers even though they are in dance tracks. All-in-all, this is a big step up for Big League and it's a great show.
