I saw Cher on tour in Brooklyn, and the best part of the show was when she stood on stage and just told a story and you could hear a pin drop we were all so captivated. There’s just something about her. Clearly.
And for those worrying, yes this will look incredibly cheap and they’re having a tough time casting which leads me to believe the cast is going to be very hit or miss.

Cher and I are just a few months apart in our time on Planet Earth. From the first moment I saw her through today, she has been someone special, a constant in my life. She is a superb talent and a remarkable lady. I regret that I have not (yet, at least) seen her perform in person. But you can be certain that I will see "The Cher Show" on tour and will enjoy every moment. No matter who is actually singing on stage, I know that it will be Cher herself performing those wonderful songs.
The tour starts in almost a month and still nothing on a cast announcement. They must have started rehearsals by now?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Im not expecting any names, but it would be nice if a cast list was available by now.

I figured it would be easy to simplify their set. The elevator would definitely be cut. Curious about the size of the orchestra and how scaled back it is.

I plan to see the tour when it comes to the State Theater in NJ in February.

The orchestra has 9- 2 keys, 2 guitars, drums, bass, reed, trumpet, trombone. Definitely could be worse

She's a massive star."
Originally, the (equity) tour was scheduled to begin Fall 2020. COVID had other plans. I guess the delays pushed it to Nov. 2023 and they opted to save some money and make it non-equity

The pictures from their first performance look pretty good.

Caught this in Fayetteville, and I was pleasantly surprised! Big League's Legally Blonde tour was very cheap, but they've definitely invested more in this tour. Obviously the costumes are a big part of that, but everything is pretty solid overall. I thought the staging and physical production elements were pretty good. It's simple, but they are creative and it works very well for this show. The principals were great as well. The cast seems young, but they do a good job. The audiences on tour are going to eat this up!
While the choreography is good, the ensemble seems lacking to a certain extent. I imagine it's because most of them have to understudy the principals so they were more focused on the voices while casting, but the dancing is very uneven. You can tell some of the cast aren't dancers even though they are in dance tracks. All-in-all, this is a big step up for Big League and it's a great show.
