I know I’m in the minority, but seeing Sutton live was the reason I initially bought tickets; Jackman was just a bonus. So I’m glad I decided to get a refund and take a wait and see approach.

"The latest date I've heard was March 2021 to start shooting again, so at least we have a date, and they're still planning on it," Duff said."
I've had conversations with a few people involved with the TV show and they have no idea what's going to happen; they're (obviously) hoping to start shooting again no later than March, but they've also been told they'd love to start shooting as soon as a month or two from now. So I actually don't think Younger will wind up being a conflict with The Music Man, for the following reason: if things are improving fast enough to begin rehearsals in February for a live stage production, then with film and television posing far less risk than a big Broadway musical in a tightly packed theater, the TV production of Younger will have been able to finish production by then... but conversely, if TV isn't safe to start shooting again before next March, 8 months from now, then it certainly won't be possible for Broadway theater to return by then either.
Long story short, as everyone keeps saying, nobody knows anything. But don't forget that when they announced Broadway would officially be closed until January, which was only a month ago, that was before the resurgence of the virus, the many new outbreaks, and the alarmingly rapidly rising case numbers. Things are now so much worse, and it's only 3 or 4 weeks later. Barring a vaccine, or (even less likely under this administration) the entire country shutting down to contain the current shocking spread, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think a spring re-opening for Broadway is extremely unlikely.
