I agree with Jordan - Rudin will make this the grand return of Broadway.
My January 7th tickets have been moved to August 5th.

I must be in the small percentile of ticket buyers who will now be seeing the show in previews, instead of after opening. Had them for 10/22 after the 10/15 opening. Now i have them 5/12 before a 5/20 opening.
I think it's interesting that Rudin has committed to a date rather than "Spring 2021" and also it's after what would be a Tonys cutoff in a traditional year. I'm sure he has some level of intel of what Broadway higher ups are thinking as far as a reopening and a 2021 Tonys. Not that it will stick to that, but I can't imagine he would be this specific without having a reasonable amount of hope that it can actually happen
Email received from Telecharge. My ticket was moved from October 20 to May 11. I removed those details from the email.
"Despite the current suspension of performances on Broadway, we are delighted to be able to confirm our new schedule for the highly anticipated production of Hugh Jackman in THE MUSIC MAN.
The show will begin previews at the Winter Garden Theatre on April 7, 2021, with an official opening on May 20, 2021.
Since you are already a ticketholder for this strictly limited engagement, your booking has been automatically transferred to a new performance. Although your performance date has changed, your seat locations are exactly the same.
If for any reason you cannot attend THE MUSIC MAN on the date above and need to exchange to a different performance, go to your Telecharge Order Status page(on a desktop computer or tablet).
Click the “Exchange” button and follow the steps to select another performance and new seat locations. Your exchange will be completed after you have selected new seat locations. All exchanges must be made by July 23, 2020.
Should you have any other questions about your booking, CLICK HERE to submit a Telecharge Customer Service form. Do not reply to this email.
We are enormously excited about Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster in THE MUSIC MAN, and about inviting you back to Broadway. We hope that, in the meantime, you continue to stay safe and healthy.
We look forward to seeing you at the Winter Garden.
I just got the email. I assume I would need to pay extra to move my tickets right? The tickets I see for summer 2021 are $20 each more than I paid.
Anyway, I am in the UK, out of work and have airline tickets for this September that they won't refund so I cannot afford to purchase new tickets tying up more money or commit to buying airfare and hotel for 2021 until I can get another job. Is it easy to get a refund? Do I just need to email them?
Edit: Thanks for posting the FAQ link above, I was able to request a refund from that page easily.
Ugh. I needed to exchange my ticket to a new date. I went through the online process as instructed, found a new ticket on a date I could attend, got through the payment page, and then then got held up on the processing payment screen followed by an error message. No confirmation from Telecharge or charge to my credit card. Now when I try to go back and exchange the ticket, I get a notice that my ticket has been canceled, with no option to exchange.
Very upset. I now have no ticket on any date. I emailed Telecharge (no phone option), but I'm not so sure this is going to work out well.
But, if you did not purchase tickets before this, you cannot purchase tickets now for this show, correct? It doesn't seem like it and my friend wants to get tickets for next summer. I don't know the answer.
I have no real faith that Broadway will be able to return in the spring and I don't at all appreciate just being randomly assigned a new date. There's no way I'm coming to NY in June to sweat my balls off in any case. Refund please.
Just remembering you've had an "and"
When you're back to "or"
Makes the "or" mean more than it did before
Then you need to tell that to Telecharge, not us. And when even Faucci says he's hopeful we'll have vaccine ready by the end of this year/beginning of next year - I think April is fair. But you do you and get that refund.
