Curious why it took this long to announce, but great news!
Performances begin in Providence, Rhode Island, and they'll visit over 30 cities in its first year.

Fantastic news....this show is pure JOY!!!!!!!!!
The only scenario I could've imagined where this wasn't getting a tour would've been if it flopped in a week back in April like many of us had thought it might have.
This is EXACTLY the show that needs to be on tour because it's wholesome, great for families, and also irreverent as hell. It will do gangbusters on the road.
Not only have all of this year’s Best Musical nominees announced a forthcoming national tour, three of them will play/will have played the West End as well.
Only 3/6 of last year's nominees ended up touring, while 4/6 have been seen in London.

Just confirmed for Nashville during the 24/25 season
Orlando is confirmed as well.
Beyond thrilled this show is touring, such an absolute joy of a musical!
Now… we just need a Parade tour to be officially confirmed (have heard rumblings it is in the works fingers crossed) and every single Tony nominated Best Musical and Best Revival will be or will have (in the case of Into the Woods) going/gone on tour.
In the first cast reveal for Shucked’s first national tour, Miki Abraham is returning to the show to play Lulu.
More casting TBA these next few weeks.
Danielle Wade will join the tour as Maizy.

PERFECT casting. Saw her in the MG tour and she was excellent. This just made me even more excited for the rest of the cast.
Will Branner commented on the Instagram announcement. He is married to Danielle and is leaving BTTF on Sunday. I think there’s a very, very, very good chance we see him on the tour!!

Not necessarily but it would be very cool!
Somehow I missed this from yesterday: Mike Nappi, recently seen Off-Broadway in The Life and Slimes of Marc Summers, will play Peanut.
Seems like they're settling for Mondays for tour casting updates.

Only announced 8 months ago. movies take time. or this could end up never happening like half the movie musicals announced in the past or the power of the dark crystal.
Quinn VanAntwerp is returning to the show to play Gordy on tour.
can someone please explain to me why the tour has cut one of the best songs from the show (We Love Jesus, at the top of Act 2....), and replaced it with a truly dumb number about the rocks being purple?
