If anyone was gonna upset in the Leading category, I expected Turner to upset Jones. Wow, I'm kinda shocked.

re: The 2005 Tony Awards Thread

wow. Kathleen Turner is thinking -- I could win, I could win!
So my dear you think you can get to Broadway. Well, let me tell you something. Broadway has no room for people like you. Not the Broadway I know. My Broadway takes people like you and eats them up and spits them out. My Broadway is the Broadway of Merman, and Martin, and Fontaine, and if you think you can build yourself up by knocking other people down... ...GOOD LUCK... Seinfeld

Marcia Cross looks pretty, though the dress looks sort of like it was the one Sissy Spacek wore in Carrie after the pig blood was dropped on her....
I sing for myself. I sing when I want, whenever I want to, just for me. I sing for my own pleasure. Do you understand that?

I think it'd be strange if they both win their categories but the show didn't win Best Revival.

....

And Jones wins.

Maybe we shouldn't be saying Norbert should do that "when he gives his speech." Because if we jinx it and he doesn't win, I'm going to cry. lol

Rashad is such a bad speaker- she was the guest speaker at my bro's graduation from Syracuse
People like you are the reason I'm on medication.

O'Byrne was a shoo - in to win....

Irwin is one of our greatest clowns, and as many of us already knew, he is one of our greatest actors, and the Tony affirms that!

Kathleen Turner was just as deserving of that award. Those two women are equally astounding.
