How much would you pay for a ticket ? I entered the lottery and expected to win considering there were just over 150 seats available at a 2pm Saturday show but was rejected. I don’t want mezz tickets either. How long do you think this show will last?
Personally. After making the forewarned mistake of seeing King Kong with a 59 dollar rush ticket. I would say the Cher show is at least worth a lower priced reg ticket. I would also say that the Cher show will run at least a year. Probably my guess would be 2-2.5.
The show is doing fine. There are not over 150 seats for the matinee today, it’s almost sold out. If you’re looking at StubHub, those are seats already sold that are being resold.
Why would you judge a show's sales by StubHub? The matinees always sellout. If anything, the weeknight shows are up at TKTS for 50% off($88) for orchestra seats usually. Don't care for the mezz at the Neil Simon, so if you're getting tickets through TKTS, ask first where the seats are located. Definitely worth it.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Lotto seats tend to be partial view in the orchestra. That's where mine were back in December. Also, some seats seem to be located in the mid or rear mezz.

When I saw the CHER show back late last year I remember the orchestra was full, rear mezz was full, front mezz was full -- but the 'wings' mid-side mezz was empty. I think they may have priced those seats too much. Might be different now.
I think for an evening of entertainment, CHER show is great especially for Cher fans. I've been a Cher fan since 2000 (loved her hits back then like Song for the Lonely and Different Kind of Love Song) and I enjoyed my evening of theater with friends but I didn't really feel moved (yes I understand that's not a necessity but being moved is what I like about going to theater.) When I watched that youtube video of Adam Lambert singing a ballad rendition of BELIEVE at the Kennedy Center --- wow I was completely blown away. I think if CHER Show had a moment like that, it would have been a better show.
Just wanted to update everyone in case anyone was curious. Tried getting the Cher Show lottery tickets about 3x via lottery. Got it on my 3rd try for a sunday at 3pm. Had to go 30 mins before show started to get tickets but they would have given earlier. It said that only the person listed could get it but I was able to get it for my sister with no problem (same last name, different birthday and first name). I got Left Orchestra seats row K, seats 19/21 (all the way to the left) which was fine! I thought the seats were one apart but the seating goes odd for some reason-but we did sit next to eachother. If I missed anything from my view, it wasn't much and I would much rather prefer that that mezz seats. I love musicals and this was certainly enjoyable!
Theres a lot of pics on yelp and I'll update on there so people know what the view looks like
