Well, I checked right at midnight and no result for me, but I bet it was up just 5 seconds later. lol Just my luck.
But regardless, yaaay!
Downloading now and immediately updating my iPod so that I can listen to this on my way to the store [to pick up the Absolutely Fabulous complete collection]. This Tuesday will be EXCELLENT. :)

Also downloading from iTunes now. Listening to Prologue (We Might Play All Night) as I type!

Sounds amazing, it translated really well from the live recording to the cast album (or whatever we call it now). The audience applause is negligible, and the energy of the show is superbly captured.

I'm impressed with itunes, they usually don't have it up at midnight with new releases.
- Yes they do. Usually. I downloaded Madonna's album before Midnight.

Ljay,
When I was waiting for the most recent Kanye album, I had to wait until morning. I even checked around 1:30, but no look.
I guess it depends.

listening to the album and thinking about my expierence at the show, I have to believe Daniel Breaker could be the "darkhorse" for the Tony.
Boyd Gaines should be sweating... I thought Daniel was brilliant.

I love how I can finally hear every word, crystal clear.
Although the sound mix at the theater is waaaaay more exciting in person.

Keys is probably my favorite song too, but I am listening to Amsterdam right now and it sounds so damn amazing. I love Heidi's intro.. 'Amsterdam, Spring Sunshine..high..high'

Has anyone else noticed that "Mom Song" jumps to the next track before "Mom Song" is complete? It keeps doing that for me. If I manually play that track past that point, it plays to the end.
It does this somewhere around 40 seconds left in the track.

Hi, CURIOUS. Did you like what they did with "Vat's Inside"? It certainly was different, but I sorta like it. Also, the last number? That fade out was weird. I hope they might change that for the physical CD

Yeah it is kinda weird. That wasn't necessary to fade Stew out while he was still talking.

Yeah, and what happened to that awesome, rockin' curtain call music??
Anyway, I found this on ATC!! Great!

Just finished listening to the cast album from iTunes. Great sound, well recorded, some minor changes to a few songs but overall a version faithful to the show. I've seen the show multiple times, but now I can finally hear some of the lyrics I'd been missing. Don't mind the clapping, since one of those clapping at the recording session was me!
Only disappointment for me is the fade out at the end. The cast introductions at the curtain call, followed by Stew shouting "three, four..." then the reprise of the guitar-heavy prologue music is always one of the highlights of the live experience.
