My favorite part of that video (besides, you know, the whole video being my favorite part :)) is the way that they're all dancing and moving, including, you can't see it too well, but I swear Andrea does her "brand new lease" hand movement. Love it.

I love the video and the article on Robin. The article especially made me happy because I loved the part that he still talks to his HS drama teacher.... I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that!

Has anyone else watched those "Cubby Bernstein" videos that everyone seems to be in love with and had your first thought be "I would *love* to see Lin-Manuel Miranda make a parody of this!"

...or maybe that's just me. :)

i was with mealz on the 13th, and i can honsetly say that this is the first show where i am RECOMMENDINg...wait for it..

LAST ROW MEZZ.

not kidding! these seats are great. no partial view, the most amazing perspective of the lighting, everyone looks at you during alabanza and when you're home. and i mean i was already in love with the lighting because it is amazing and because as an amateur lighting designer myself it inspires me, but my non-lighting friends were like dude you don't fully grasp the power of the lights from lotto, which is partially true

i hope this wins best lighting. so badly

on another note, i am still ecstatic that alex lacamoire rememered me! i am so happy he was nommied, and he so deserves to win!

So the rumor was that the cast recording ships on the 19th or 20th, I guess we'll find out soon. (for Marquee and Sh-K-Boom, and at the theater)

Love those things !! In other news, theatre/box office packed tonight !! Went by at around 6:45, and the place was buzzing !

Bought another ticket for "Tony Week"- 6/20- :))

We saw it yesterday afternoon & thought it was great

There were some empty seats upstairs but with word of mouth & sure Tony wins in multiple catagories, this will not be happening for long. I would not be surprised to see the prices jacked up after the Tonys.

We did not see it off broadway but now it is absolutely fabulous. I am glad we got to see it for $ 50 a head - 1 st row of rear mezzanine (Broadway Box). Great seats

We highly recommend it to one & all.

I am not compulsively checking my mail for the cd yet, because I keep checking my credit card statement instead. :) CC is supposed to be charged upon shipping, so I'm not getting excited until I see a cc charge.

And I guess this is a little early for this, but Andrea Burns just posted on her facebook that she will be out from July 20 - July 27th- u/s Daniela viewing time!

i had her understudy when i saw it off broadway, she was good but she certainly wasn't Andrea (no one is!)

I'm looking forward to seeing grosses in the coming weeks. I am not looking forward to lotto turning into Wicked!lotto. It was soo packed on Friday even though it was pouring out.

I paid for the recording with cash so I get a complete surprise when it gets delivered. Hopefully no one steals it like my Carols for a Cure CD.

Great piece in El Nuevo Dia, for those of you who understand Spanish. Interviews with some of Lin-Manuel's family members, etc. Lovely article.

And fess up, which one of you is the girl who's seen the show 60 times? Cause...damn.
