I saw the show for the first time with my friends on Saturday. I think it's one of the strongest productions I've seen, and I'd love to go again. Also, Robin de Jesus was amazing. I'm so glad I got to see him before he goes! The whole cast was great, but he was my favorite.

I'm seeing the tour on Saturday here in Boston and found a review with a :52 video of the opening number, it's mostly just Kyle Beltran.

When did Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer leave the Heights tour?

(The Shea's Performing Arts Center website says that Sabrina Sloan is Vanessa; I just saw the tour last week in Boston and it was still Yvette as Vanessa.)

I'm going to see the tour next month. I'm really looking forward to it! I didn't know Yvette was leaving. That didn't last long. I was still interested in seeing her.

I wonder if she has to film her tv show. She plays Kiki on The Fresh Beat Band.

Wasn't tonight (Friday) Janet's first night back as Nina? Did anyone go? I'm hoping to see this the show this weekend and am very excited to see her in the role (plus Corbin for the first time and the entire show in general).

I really wish tptb would update the official Heights website with some pics of Janet as Nina. The only proshot I've been able to find so far is on The Hartman Group's website, where it's the only pic on the page without a caption.

I have seen this show 3 times already!!! Absolutely love it- in fact, I'm trying to win tickets through the "Be In The Heights" contest for the L.A date on the tour.

I saw the show last month and Janet was out. I am hoping I can go back before she leaves, but I also wanna see Jordin Sparks, so I don't know what to do.

Saw the show Friday night and was pleasantly surprised at what wonderful shape the show is in. I haven't seen it since Lin Manuel's final performance in Feb. 2009. I also wanted to see Corbin Bleu as Usnavi before he leaves next month. He was wonderful!! I was also fortunate to see Courtney Reed as Vanessa. She should be playing the role full time. Loved her!! Great audience, too. Didn't see anyone texting during the performance (at least in my section).

Does anyone know when Kevin Santos left?

When I saw the national tour in S.F., I believe it was in May, there was a sheet in the playbills that said "ITH welcomes Kevin Santos", so I guess he left a little earlier than that. He was also listed as a swing.
