So how was Jon Rua as Usnavi? I see that Shaun Taylor-Corbett has left the cast, and that Kevin Santos (Paul ACL tour) is now in the show.

What's happened to Justina Machado? Wasn't she going to be in the show until late August? Good news - Doreen is on as Daniela all week!

She was, but Sunday seems to have been her last day? I'm a little disappointed but I'm glad I went to the show that day!

Did anyone else get to see Doreen as Abuela? She was awesome.

I have obviously been out of the loop for a while- who is Courtney Reed in Heights? From the Broadway in South Africa benefit announcement...

The songs will be performed by such Broadway artists as Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Sean Bradford (The Lion King), Lili Cooper (Spring Awakening), Darius de Haas (Kiss of the Spiderwoman), Eden Espinosa (Wicked), Frankie James Grande (Mamma Mia), Adam Kantor (Rent), Tracy McDowell (Rent), Selloane Nkhela (The Lion King), Courtney Reed (In The Heights), Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde) and Lisa Nicole Wilkerson (The Lion King).

The official In the Heights website isn't listing the tour cast yet, I'm wondering if anyone has seen any tour cast member names confirmed in other press? The ones I have come across:

Both Natalie Caruncho (who will understudy the young female leads) and Oscar Cheda (he'll fill in as the dad/car service owner and the piragua vendor) will be be part of a cast that will play Fort Lauderdale's Broward Center for the Performing Arts March 16-28, 2010.

Anakela, she's a new cast member. She replaced Janet Dacal as Carla. It's on their website.

I saw that last week when I was in NYC. He's adorable. I haven't seen or had the desire to see the show since Lin Manuel left. Maybe I'll go back when Corbin is there.

I'm planning on seeing this when Janet comes back as Nina, so I'm pretty excited to see her portrayal in addition to a new Usnavi, a new Sonny, and any other people who might be joining. I'm actually open to seeing Corbin in the role. And as much as I love Robin, it'll be nice to see someone else's take on the character. I am so happy Janet is returning, let alone playing Nina full-time. I LOVE Mandy, but I've never seen Janet before as that character. So as you might already tell, I'm really excited to see this again soon!

What's going on with the cast changes? From the last posts in this thread, it sounds like Robin de Jesus and Mandy Gonzalez left the cast, and Janet Dacal is returning as Nina. Has anyone else left or is planning to leave? Who of the original cast in title roles is left?

The last posts state that Robin's last is 2/14, and Mandy's last is 1/31-

As far as I know, the new Sonny begins on the 14th. I know it sounds strange because it's a Sunday, but that's what I heard.

I saw IN THE HEIGHTS for the first time last summer in NYC... LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!! So nice to see a breath of fresh air on the Great White Way. Also, ITH is on an cross-country tour- Next stop Buffalo, NY. Check out

It is! Do we know when Janet starts? Wonderland's last show is on 2/15.
