I hope Baily doesn't win. There's just this quality in her acting that comes off as very snooty. I don't know. She's not bad. She just irks me.

Bailey's editing is good. She comes off as a little bitchy, but she is bitching about Cassie S. who they are making out to be deserving of it. I think Bailey is definitely in the top. It seems Autumn has a shot, but she isn't featured as much as I would expect the winner to be.

Its hard for me to pick any person as my favorite because it seems like all the girls are quite young, too young for the part in my opinion. Its just hard for me to picture a girl like Lauren or Rhiannon as a college graduate.

I have to admit a small part of me wants Natalie to win because she is the shortest girl and close to my size. If she wins then my dreams of being short broadway star may seem more plausible haha.

Vocally I really enjoyed the brunette they kicked off the first episode, she was wearing a purple top and black tights I think. From the remaining girls I really enjoy Autumn, but I wonder what she will look like as a blonde....

Actually, she is wonderful to work beside onstage. She will give you support onstage and off. And before commenting on the "great stuff" on her resume I suggest that you actually LOOK at her resume!!! Besides, La Cage (granted a high point) her resume reads like most other struggling actors in NYC.

I would hate to see how most of us came across if everything we did/said during the day was recorded and then edited by professionals to make us appear better and or worse then we actually are. I would also like you to find me one person who pursues theatre as a career that doesn't believe in themselves. It is a tough buisness and it requires thick skin and a lot of belief in yourself that when editted can come across snotty.

I dont think Natalie wins...simply because they all seem to post on one anothers facebook walls and one of the girls wrote her saying if she comes to NYC, they would gladly attend audition calls with her..

i thought i brought a ticket for lauras last performance but i did not ticketmaster made a mistake and gave me july 27th at 7pm, so i went to the box office and asked it to be changed and they said you can not do it there. i was talking to the house manger about my situation and she told me to call tix master or go to a local location near me and tell them i spoke with the house manager and tell them about my situation. she said you might be able to switch the date, going tommorrow. plus i told her i did not want to see the reality show elle and striahgt up she said to me the winner of the show does not start until late august to mid september. so she she the u/s's will be on from the july 23rd to then.
hey...kate rockwell might be getting her chance to cover elle woods and the other u/s who the house manager did forget her name but she is already is the show already.
the box office and management of crybaby was right about their closing this sunday.

not sure but my guess she just started rehearsals the reality elle. i asked about ten times that the reality elle is starting that late and she yes all ten times

i am just happy if i cant change my ticket to lauras last , i will prob get to see kate rockwell.

it was kind of like one of those frustration moments but i feel bad for my actions. i thought she was just kidding around with me then i thought about one of us bww people asking crybaby clsing this sunday and told them correct infomation, so that insureded me more about what she was telling me was the truth and she had a straight face and so did the box office person.
then i told her about the new elle starting july 23rd in the publcity and the manager was in complete shock about it...annoucing lbb last day was the truth and the new elle starting 7/23/08 (false). the manager was pissed off about the wrong info about the reality elle starting on that date and not late august. her face looked really pissed about it and she said you got to be kidding thats not even half close of when she is starting and thank you for telling her or mentioning her. so that top it off that i might be seeing kate as elle if ticketmaster wont let me change the date.
but at the end she was really helpful and she apolized to me that the theatre can not change the date because of ticketmaster rules and such. then we started talking for a bit and it ended in a happy note bettween the house manager/box office person and me. the manager said to me i hope you are able to change the date of the performance and you get to see lauras last performance. i told them thank you for all your help and said goodbye plus a nice rest of the day and evening.

Probably starting late so they can finish airing the show then have time to milk the publicity before she begins her run.

Have they cast Becky Gulsvig's replacement yet? Will that person also u/s Elle?

The episode synopsis for this week on tvguide.com confirms that two people are sent home this week: "The ladies perform with a canine costar: Bruiser, the dog from the musical. Later, they sing "Serious" for actor Richard Blake, and two contestants are eliminated."

Anyone know how many episodes long this show is? 8? 10? The season finale might still air around July 21. Monday July 21 would be when episode 8 is scheduled to air. Might that be it?

Actually, Emma is my favorite contestant. She seems the most real, which I appreciate. So she's not as starry-eyed as the other girls because she grew up in the biz. At least she's not faking the bubbly for the show. She's the one I'd most like to hang with.

From what is shown on MTV, performance-wise, I would cast Autumn as Elle. Judging only from what mtv shows us, her audition material has been the strongest all around; she seems more-than-ready to step in to the role tomorrow.

I hate how they edit that show. I thought some girls were horrible, but when I looked at their full performances online, I thought they were decent. I thought Bailey did okay but when I looked at her performance online, she was TERRIBLE. I thought Cassie S. was one of the worst, but thought she did a lot better then some girls when I saw the whole thing.

"Was anyone else suspicious that Bailey's little interview/commentary segments seemed to happening in a dressing room type area? It seemed as if they were filmed off location as if the show had already wrapped but they needed more for her to say. It makes me think that perhaps she wins but they felt the need to get her more involved in the show as a result."

I saw that too! It made me think the same thing. After seeing her this week, I hope she doesn't win.

yes, if you beleive the biased editing. then she should be. If you watch the full performances online then you'd have a valid opinion on the topic.

I just watched all the full performances from this week's episode-and I have some thoughts.

Rhiannon-WOW! From the last time she sang, she has improved a lot! I think she has a lot of potential, she got the perfect personality and look as well.

Bailey-I really, really don't like her. She just seems completely fake to me, and her "niceness" in interviews seems really forced. It seems like she's hiding her true feelings about some of the girls (like Cassie S.) with her "sweet southern charm" except now it's starting to show through. Her voice is mediocre at best, and she slips in and out of her accent a lot. I just don't get why everyone loves her so much, she's nothing special.

Yeah, I was hoping they'd do that but it according to Tiffany, they casted an unknown for the new Elle u/s, which I guess is smart because if what was said up there is allegedly true, Tiffany will be playing Margot whenever kate goes on. Which I'm sure she will, considering thats potentially over a month with no official full time Elle.
