I think it's funny how suddenly active the mods became when there was a spoiler on Amazon.com. They've now deleted two threads (that I'm aware of) about it. Yet, when there were (on numerous occasions) hateful, racist, homophobic posts on the board, the mods were nowhere to be found.
Can anyone tell if the winner's snippet was in a lower key from Laura's original? And do you guys hear how flat the winner is on "is that my name in black and WHITE?" They could have fixed that.

To be honest, I would be more hurt if I recieved criticism saying that I lacked emotional depth. If you have trouble singing, that can be fixed by a teacher. If you have trouble dancing, that can be fixed by dance classes. But just plain not having emotional depth?? That would hurt.
But maybe that's just my preference. I would rather see someone who was a stronger actor and maybe lacked a little in voice or dance (to a degree) than someone who could wail but didn't make me care for the character.
I totally agree! I think they all think they deserve it! I love Riannon but I gasped when she said she was upset with Lauren and Autumn because Natalie got sent home the first time she was sent to the casting office. Rhainnon should consider it a gift that she is still in the running and shouldn't be commenting on who deserves to be there. Does anyone really think that Bailey isn't absolutely sure that she deserves to win? I thought Autumn had a really valid point-a lot of amazingly talented people don't make it to Broadway. If the rumors are true about Rhiannon, Bailey and Lauren they should thank their lucky stars because there are performers far more talented that haven't gotten to broadway or been in national tour. I think think they are all talented girls but the only one who has blown me away (at times) is Autumn.
No one is so bad in the dancing, acting, or singing (well maybe Rhionnan?) that she can't be fixed by a little more training. For me, it's more important to have a deeper understanding of the character and be thoughtful in the role. I don't think all of them have that going for them.
Autumn has joined the cast of VOTE! so I was wondering if she didn't win "The Search for Elle Woods". Some say she could be doing two shows and they said Kate Shindle is doing that.
I would be more upset if they told me that I didn't have the voice to sing Elle Woods, rather than I lacked the emotional depth needed to play Elle Woods.
Again, Vote was a reading. Actors do readings all the time, between shows, while they're in shows... it doesn't really tell us anything about who wins or doesn't win.
'"Contrairiwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."'
~Lewis Carroll
I don't know if Bailey will be able to do eight shows a week, but I think there are millions of little girls who are hoping she can. I've wanted Autumn and Lauren from the beginning, but I've kind of thought that Bailey would win because she is really into posting on the MTV website and Autumn isn't there that much. Bailey has a ton of fans over there. Updated On: 7/15/08 at 08:11 PM
Okay I just have to ask if anyone else was irritated with Hayley on last night's episode? I feel like every time she opens her mouth, she starts talking about HER time on Broadway. Newsflash, Hayley...NO ONE CARES!!! (And yes, I liked the comment someone posted about Jerry announcing that Hayley will be the next Elle)
I posted this on TWOP.com but thought I would bring it up here, too. Have any of you been voting for "fan favorite" over at Legallyblondethemusical.com? I have been voting daily for Lauren and she was the leader with over 46,000 votes. Now that she has been cut, they have removed her and they now list Bailey as the leader with 41,000. Do they want the "fan" favorite or the producer's favorite? I found an e-mail address to write to them and complain, if anyone is interested. It's privacy@situationmarketing.com
Gah! This is infuriating. Updated On: 7/15/08 at 08:44 PM
I'm sure every word Haylie says is scripted. You can't blame her for the writers/producers wanting the audience at home to be hit over the head with the fact that she's been on Broadway. Most people around the country probably aren't aware of that and might wonder why she's hosting this show.

The fan voting has been on the site for a while. Since all ten girls were on the show. The fan favorite started out to be Bailey then as the show progressed she stayed the fan favorite until a couple of weeks ago when Lauren fans helped her bounce Bailey to second. They must be going by EVERYONE'S favorite. They look to see who's the favorite and probably critique them better because they know the fans expect them to be good.
^^what? maybe I misread what you wrote Jacob. But the show was filmed several months ago. The voting has nothing to do with the shows results. Although it is good that Bailey is a fan favorite if it is true that she did indeed win. But the reason she might probably win is not because she is a fan favorite.

Haylie Duff is listed as one of the producers of the show.
I do feel that for someone like Bailey who seems to be the biggest FAN of the actual show, (obviously she's seen it before with her wanna-be LBB impression) should understand the character more then any of them! But clearly that is not true.
While we were watching all the girls talk about how much they deserved the part, my 14yo daughter said to me- well, what about one of the other blonde girls in the cast who has been doing this show for years and is not even being considered? They must feel bad that they had to bring in a girl from somewhere else and many without experience. Out of the mouths of babes. I also thought it was very interesting that Bailey got the wrong hat- ha!
