Um, yes.
She is talentless.
I'm sorry, I really don't like her.
She makes we want to throw up with her talk like she KNOWS EVERYTHING about the business.

"The Search for the Next Broadway Elphaba"
You don't need to search, she is in her dressing room at the palace theatre. Often described as a "constipated polo shirt with a mousy brown bob"
p.s. She does NOT have three tits.
Can someone PLEASE PM me who wins? Cause I desperately need to know.
THANK YOU!!
Could the clip be Autum singing in her head voice?
Could someone PM me the clip?
Complete bummer if it's Bailey. Guess I won't be seeing the show when I go next week.
what about one of the other blonde girls in the cast who has been doing this show for years and is not even being considered? They must feel bad that they had to bring in a girl from somewhere else and many without experience.
Well, the first blonde girl from the cast who understudies Elle is going to headline the national tour in that role. The other one shouldn't be too disappointed, since she appeared on a reality show herself- Kate Rockwell was on You're the One that I Want, and now plays Margot and covers Elle.

True - although Kate Rockwell was a graduate of a strong musical theatre program when she appeared on her reality show and a member of AEA with several lead regional credits under her belt....the same cannot be said for Bailey,Rhiannon, or Lauren.

NYC10040: Well, Lauren, Bailey, and Rhiannon are in such programs right now. I looked and Rhiannon's program has graduates like Christopher Jackson.

I'm not arguing they arn't talented or that they arn't in decent MT programs. But I think they all need some more training and perhaps some regional roles under their belt before they are ready for a lead on Broadway. In my opinion, there are many girls in NYC who have paid their dues and could have played Elle amazingly. Unfortunately, this is what happens when reality shows take over the world :).
Kate Rockwell atleast had graduated (wasn't just a freshman or sophomore) from a strong MT program and had regional leads like Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Hope in Anything Goes, Kathy in Last Five Years, Philia in Forum, etc. When she was on Grease, she was ready for Broadway. And even since then, she has done more regional work. These girls (with the exception of Autumn) have not had the experience of performing a lead role eight times a week.

What program is Rhiannon in?

The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles according to the Legally Blonde site. While I don't doubt there are some strong graduates from there, I certainly wouldn't consider it one of the best MT programs.

Lol, ok. I've just noticed that sometimes new people are given a rough time.
So i just listened to the clip and while at first it doesn't sound like Autumn it could very possibly be Autumn in her head voice. Or she could be singing as the Elle character she has been developing in rehearsals and mabey she was told or chose to sing like that. It could also be Bailey though. Its killing me.
Sorry but...where can I find the clip?
Somebody brought this point up on another board. Autumn thinks she is deserving because she has more or less paid her dues and the other girls haven't. If she is so dedicated and deserving of a Broadway role, then why hasn't she bothered to spend some time taking dance classes to improve her skills?

She said during the first dancing episode that "dancing is slowly catching up" to her singing and acting skills, "although [she's] not getting any younger." So it sounds like she probably has. Emma's the one who said she hadn't taken a dance class in years, if I recall correctly.
Also, remember, this is reality TV. For all we know, Autumn could have said all of that "I deserve it" stuff as a joke, and they edited it to make her seem snotty. Don't be too quick to judge on a reality tv show, especially one on mtv. They do it just for some conflict.
Some parts sound like Bailey and other parts sound like Autumn. I am not a voice expert, so I really cannot tell. Of course, everyone is saying it is Bailey...plus regarding that comment on her Facebook wall about her friend excited to see her in the show - who knows? Everything about the part is right for her except her emotions...bleh.
I remember on the first week she had the most horrible long note at the end of So Much Better and people thought, "Wtf?!" at her going through. Look at how far she has come now. If she wins, I hope she has since improved that note.
that link to amazon doesn't work any longer. they realized their mistake and took the sample clip down.
BUT...if someone out there downloaded it or has a way to listen to it, could you please PM me??
thanks!
