Updating this for anyone who needs to know! Currently in the rush line now (8/1). Got in line around 7:10 and was second in line, it is currently 8am and there is only one person who got in line behind me so far. Will update on the line and seats later!
I didn't do rush but I was able to pick up some $49 balcony seats yesterday for next week. The balcony here has a good view in my past experiences at this theatre and for only $9 more it beats waiting in line for rush.
I asked if I could have orchestra rush seats but was told they weren't giving orchestra seats away for rush. Sat in the balcony with partial view, the seats were great. I hardly even noticed the thin pole that makes it partial view. I was satisfied with the seats
Rush-related question: does anyone know whereabouts the pole(s) are up there? Looking into buying some advance seats and don't want to be stuck behind one. Judging by this photo it seems like there's one in front of C 10-12, if that seems accurate to folks who've sat nearby?

They have a decent amount of partial-view seats they only sell in person. For a super-sold-out show, they may unload those in advance for, I don't know, $79 or something, but I imagine they are saving at least a few for the day-of since I've seen fully sold-out final performances offer rush in the past. That said, not a guarantee, as you said, plus I'm sure people will get there at like 5 AM to try and secure them....
I usually rush but since the closing performance this Sunday is completely sold I’m worried that they won’t actually have rush - I went ahead and bought tickets on Stubhub. I bought two tickets; however, my girlfriend can’t go anymore. DM me if you want a ticket. I bought via stubhub for $175 (after fees) and the face value is $109. I’d be willing to sell for $150 OBO. The ticket is Mezz Row H seat 21.
