Not nominating Mack & Mabel score ( one of the best ever written ) for a Tony
Not giving Ragtime the Best Musical Tony
Rewarding Mary Martin for Best Actress in Sound of Music instead of Ethel Merman in Gypsy
Spamalot winning over The Light in the Piazza.
Let's not pick at the scabs anymore, shall we?
Not nominating J/H for score
I am ready for the brickbats that will start about now
haha- Picking at century old scabs and scars is what we do best on this board

The Tony voters not seeing Fiddler or DRS and nixing the award they were going to start.
Obligatory Sweeney Todd revival losing reference
Well said Katurian
Took the words right out of my mouth
"The Pajama Game winning over Sweeney Todd."
Since that happened, I don't think the tony's honor real theater anymore. I think The Pajama Game just won just because it had Harry Connick Jr. in it and, was more of a commercial sucess then Sweeney.
^ It still won Best Original Score. I didn't think that was possible for s show to win Best Score but, not be nominated for Best Musical.

yeah, i definitley agree with the SWEENEY one
SWEET CHARITY not winning best revival
JERSEY BOYS winning best musical
lots of stuff...
Hey, I thought Jersey Boys deserved the Tony! My opnion.
The Last Five Years not being nominated for a Tony Award.
Spamalot winning over The Light in the Piazza and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Putting this years performances in front of a bunch of heads. I missed the crowd interaction.
"The Last Five Years not being nominated for a Tony Award."
Ummm Last 5 Years was off-broadway.
....considering TL5Y was Off-Broadway, it wasn't ever eligible for a Tony award.
EDIT: Beat me to it.
Loretta Devine not winning (and not even being nominated) for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for "Dreamgirls."
Daniel Reichard not winning (and not even being nominated) for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for "Jersey Boys."
Idina Menzel winning for Best Actress in a Musical for "Wicked" over Tonya Pinkins for "Caroline, or Change."
JERSEY BOYS completely deserved it's Tony.

sorry, didnt mean to get people worked up, just my opinion
Spamalot winning over all of the other choices. My least favorite of the 4.
Well, sorry if I didn't know..somethingwicked...that off-broadway shows could not be nominated for a Tony Award.
^ Sorry to sound bitchy but, knowing that only Broadway shows can be nominated for TONYS is common theater sense.

DRS not winning more Tonys than it should have
I am sorry if I came across in a less than nice way I<3bway, but as the other poster said, it is sort of common knowledge, and as someone on a Broadway message board, I assumed you'd know that.
