Let's not pick at the scabs anymore, shall we?
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

"The Pajama Game winning over Sweeney Todd."
Since that happened, I don't think the tony's honor real theater anymore. I think The Pajama Game just won just because it had Harry Connick Jr. in it and, was more of a commercial sucess then Sweeney.

^ It still won Best Original Score. I didn't think that was possible for s show to win Best Score but, not be nominated for Best Musical.

Hey, I thought Jersey Boys deserved the Tony! My opnion.
The Last Five Years not being nominated for a Tony Award.
Spamalot winning over The Light in the Piazza and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Putting this years performances in front of a bunch of heads. I missed the crowd interaction.

....considering TL5Y was Off-Broadway, it wasn't ever eligible for a Tony award.
EDIT: Beat me to it.
Loretta Devine not winning (and not even being nominated) for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for "Dreamgirls."
Daniel Reichard not winning (and not even being nominated) for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for "Jersey Boys."
Idina Menzel winning for Best Actress in a Musical for "Wicked" over Tonya Pinkins for "Caroline, or Change."

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

^ Sorry to sound bitchy but, knowing that only Broadway shows can be nominated for TONYS is common theater sense.

DRS not winning more Tonys than it should have

I am sorry if I came across in a less than nice way I<3bway, but as the other poster said, it is sort of common knowledge, and as someone on a Broadway message board, I assumed you'd know that.
