Back to the Future being up for Best Musical makes my heart sink. Honesty, I was looking forward to flying in to see some shows but none of these are particularly exciting to me. Listen to Limpecka and I didn't hate the music but they never could seem to find a melody they liked so they just kept changing it. The Notebook was fine, but it was kind of neither here nor there for me. The rest just don't appeal to me in any meaningful way the way Kimberly Akimbo did.
But we also have Boop in Chicago in December, and I could see that taking the Shubert or something. And The Bedwetter was suppose to come in this season too.

I can assure you there are plenty of circus elements.
From the way he’s worded his posts it seems more like he’s congratulating the people involved…I really think he’s going to be in The Notebook. That seems like the more long-term, and more Tony-effective way to go.
RippedMan said: "Also safe to say Ryan Vasquez is going to be in this as he’s reposted a lot of the announcements. So curious who replaces him in the other 2 shows."
He's reposted the announcements for all 3 shows he did the out of town tryouts for.
And he is not doing Water for Elephants or The Outsiders.
WATER FOR ELEPHANTS will be part of Manhattan Theatre Club's 2023-24 subscription, along with MTC's three Broadway plays (Jaja, Prayer, Mary Jane) + two Off-Broadway plays (Poor Yella Rednecks, Brooklyn Laundry).
The nature of the subscription is such that people could just opt for 3, 4, or 5 shows instead of all 6, but it allows MTC subscribers to add it for about $82 and offers some more Broadway variety in case they don't want to see Prayer or Mary Jane again.
It looks like they've only released those seats for the first month or two maybe? I'm not seeing those two front rows for sale in or past May unless they've all sold immediately. Just FYI
So apparently the first two rows are "ringside seats" and they are now available for purchase. Anyone know what the stage design it? Is the stage being lowered? Are they removing the orchestra pit?
Basically, are these cheaper "ringside seats" in the first two rows going to be any good?
