anyone know anything about a book signing in chicago? I would think if they're doing one in dallas *in the most republican state on the planet* they would do one in texas. Anyone know where to find info about book signings??? Help me!!!

This is the longest thread EVER. I love it. I can't wait for Anthony's book!

Well I have kind of sadish news...
After Jamuary 5th at about 10 am, I will no longer be on this threaed, this site, or the internet again until some time a little while in the future (not sure when yet)
. I am getting a cornea transplant in the eye I can actually see out of, so for an indefinite amount of time I will be completely blind, unable to use my lovely computer and will be away from all of you *tear*
Why I need it is a very very long story I dont feel like telling, if you are that curious, ask pointpark kyle. IN the end, the surgery will be a great thing to have. I will nolonger be legally blind and will get to live my life normally again (hopefully). But it isn't going to be a fun recovery at all and I know there will be many times I will be missing this thread as a distraction and the people on it who have become my great friends. Gertrude...willbe recieving updates on my condition from my mom and will pass them on. I just wanted to let everyone know!
See you when I get back! When I can see well enough to be on the computer (which will be pretty much when I can see anything again practically) i will come back and bask in Anthony's glory again (well ok so the FIRST thing I may do is read his book, but after that I will bask!)
Bye all
Caitie

Caitie!
I hope your surgery goes well and you have a relaxing (if possible) recovery. We'll miss you around these parts.
For whoever asked about the 10th Anniversary show, there will be an online lotto. There isn't really any specific info yet, but I'm sure you'll hear about it when it becomes known.

Aww, good luck tomorrow Caitie. We'll miss you in the AIM chat for a while. I hope everything goes well <3
whyhelloheart- I got that scarf for Christmas, and I love it. It's not exactly the Mark scarf, but it's close enough for me. And it has a little RENT logo on it. I wear it all the time.
Is anyone going to the book signing in San Francisco? I'll be the first in line. I cannot wait for this book...I'm growing antsy...

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"
