Nice. But how do I actually put it on the thingy? (I'm such an articulate English major, aren't I?)
"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

Go to your preferences --> expressions --> icons (or something) and then "browse PC." Obviously you have to save it from this window (right click, "save as") and then just browse and choose it. :)
*Bows to the computer goddess* Ok, so it's actually not that hard. But I'm computer dumb, so there. I think I want to put a Hedwig quote in my signature. Any suggestions? I'm thinking a lyric from Origin of Love or the song about the wig where Hedwig looks like Cher.

For those of you who wanted information about book signings I finally got them, why can't he go somewhere near Nebraska?!

"Oh, good. After all, I can rub my stomach and pat my head at the same time, and I can do it with my eyes closed while whistling 'The Entertainer.' That's rhythm for you."

I took my mom to see Rent a few weeks ago, and I don't think she liked it. First, she fell asleep during most of it. Second, every time something even slightly obscene was mentioned (i.e. drugs, etc) she said, "Oy vey." Third, she rolls her eyes every time I mention Rent. I highly doubt now that she'd be willing to see the show with me. Hmm...maybe I can get my dad to take me...he's a sucker for Broadway shows...
"A little rebellion, now and then, is a good thing." - Thomas Jefferson
I took my mom and aunt to the movie, and they seemed to like it okay.... but they just didn't see the big deal. They weren't offended by it, but weren't moved by it either. Maybe it's somewhat of a generational thing? Or maybe the material didn't come across quite as powerfully on screen? I think we're used to seeing tragedy on screen so often that we've built up a tolerance to it, whereas with live theatre it isn't as easy to remove yourself from what you're seeing.
Anyway, I was kind of disappointed in their reaction.
Well, let me first give my good wishes and hopes to Caitie, who I know has already gone through the surgery, so I hope it all went well. :)
Secondly, I would like to announce that I am positively enfuriated, seeing as I used to live very close to Philly, meaning I would be able to go to a book signing, BUT NOOOO, NO ONE LOVES US HISTORICAL PEOPLE UP IN BOSTON. For this, Paul Revere and his crew shall come and haunt the dreams of Anthony. Well...no, that'd be mean. They'd just remind him to come up here next time.
sweetestsiren: I was quite disappointed in my mother's reaction, too. Although her first time seeing it was also mine, I was so much more moved by the movie, whereas she just got up at the end, and was like, "Meh. Mmk, I saw it, let's go home and eat."

You must think I'm still sixteen.
I dropped out of high school for a reason.
And I don't care if you're pretty. I'm not admitting you are right.
My soul is not a stage.
I won't pretend I'm anything I'm not
