Good god, people are guest lecturers all the time, perhaps just for one course or a few classes of one course. Eden never proclaimed to be "teaching at NYU." Someone here posted that, and suddenly she's being portrayed as a liar.
THIS is what Eden is talking about - while she is not listed on the website, several other stage performers are, including Sutton Foster and Renee Elise Goldsberry. http://www.nsb2015.com/
Some folks need to unclutch the pearls.
To the original question - follow her social media; she shares a photo every day.
Woah, woah, woah. She DOES teach at NYU. She has her own vocal performance classes that she meets with once a week. She's been teaching at NYU since last semester. Her name is on the class schedule, and she has more than one section, and no one else teaches her sections, but her.
I wouldn't be surprised if those department directories are very out of date. Even in my prior workplace, in the legal department no less, internal directories were up to two years out of date.
Easily verified by NYU search under "people" (listed as adjunct professor).

Well thank goodness - now everyone with their panties in a twist about it can get off their high horse.
There are actually a nice amount Tisch teachers who don't have a masters. I don't know if that's anything to be proud of, but the ones that don't have masters degrees have a lot of experience, for instance one teacher is Hilary Swank's acting coach, etc. They have the resume for the job. Maybe the leniency comes from the fact that it's an arts school?

Didn't you hear that Eden fell through the trap door at the end if wicked and broke her ribs and couldn't perform her final performance. This also happened to Idina and Sho. it's a ritual at wicked.

@Call_Me if that's a joke, it's not funny and not true in the least. Shoshana did fall into the orchestra pit upon making her entrance once and she did knock her hat off with her broom on the first official performance of hers after taking over for idina (I happened to be there)
I don't understand all the Eden hate. If you don't like her don't see her in shows.
So what if she didn't want to work for equity min in "Hair" after standing by and going on as Elphaba and Nessarose often, originating the role of Brooklyn then playing Elphaba full time for over a year. Levy was probably cheaper - and personally my least fav Shelia having seen Karen, Caren and Jackie as well.
My first time seeing "Wicked" back in April 2004 it was the full original cast except Eden was on for Idina, later found out it was her 2nd time ever performing the role. She didn't scream the score, and didn't scream it the handful of times I saw her after she took over full time or the few cabaret performances of hers I saw. "Brooklyn" was a hot crazy mess - but you can't fault the cast.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I don't get why these message boards are so hateful. It's like 3 pages of Eden bashing with scattered praise.
When she ran downstage for the first entrance, she flew (ha) into the pit. The stage at the Gershwin is raked and she got too much speed or something and the weight of the luggage she carries at that point kind of propelled her into the orchestra. There is a net there for that very reason but the show stopped and I guess some of the cast ran over to help her out.
