Johnny Boy - The tour was something of a mess. The book and score had been cut and the result was a patchwork of scenes that didn't really connect. The staging for the opening was completely different and made no sense at all. The whole show looked like it was cut and pasted together with no cohesive concept.
The Broadway production had its faults, but worked much better, especially the opening and finale, which were absolutely joyous. I still get goosebumps when I hear Oh the Thinks You Can Think from remembering the Broadway staging and choreography.
It's like trying to compare the Broadway and tour productions of Big, which were two different shows. The Broadway production was charming and the tour was just hideous.

-Starlight Express (When the tour came to my city, they gave my theatre class tickets due to poor ticket sales..)
-Brigadon't.. I used to call it that, and it made me happy to see someone else list it. This was the only time I've ever walked out of a performance at intermission, but something tells me it was the production rather than the actual show which I've been been brave enough to attempt again.
p.s. I'm so sad the Fantasticks is getting no love as it is one of my favesies

I'd have to say OKLAHOMA. I can't imagine ever sitting through this bit of nonsense again. Yeah, I recognize the historic significance of the show, and all that. I also recognize the historic significance of BIRTH OF A NATION, and I'm not gonna sit through that again any time soon either.

Ok, I have to rain on some parades here. If the op really wants Broadway fans (who have seen many shows) to state their least favorite, then you can't list 10 or more shows, it takes away from the question.
Really think about all the stinkers and decide on your least favorite. If you list every bad or weak show you have ever seen you are cheating.

1776-I was watching it in a class in college, and actually fell asleep one day because it was boring. The class was at noon too. Mr. Feeney from "Boy Meets World" didn't even excite me. LOL! I know that's not the actor's name, but that's how I remember him. LOL!

I admit to only seeing the film version of Oklahoma!. Yes it is dated, but IMO that gives it its charm. An artifact of old-timey Americana.
I saw the film in 70mm super wide screen and the cinematography was impressive. I hope it comes out in Blu-ray.

On Broadway: Cats, as my dear friend Cubby Bernestein would say.. "What the hell WAS that?"
On Tour: Whistle Down the Wind
Off Broadway: The Ark ( Did anyone else see this, it was about Noah's Ark and the audience was suppose to be all the animals.It played at 37 Arts. There were some good moments, but the show got a little weird.)

Are people separating a performance from the show itself?
I have a friend who saw Joseph ATATDC performed by 4th and 5th graders and swears it is the worst musical ever. And he sat through the full 4 1/2 hrs of the road premiere of "Hello, Dolly" in Detroit.
I find it funny that the top shows on the list are some of the most successful in history. Can't help but think there is some sour grapes action going on and not true feelings. Either that they simply haven't seen that many shows.
Then, there are the people who love a show, but will vote it as the worst, because they don't like the casting of a particular production. Doesn't make sense to me.

I'm going to have to say Young Frankenstein. Worst professional production I have ever seen. I actually left before it ended.
Then I'd say Kismet, and BKLYN- what a joke. I used to hate the Fantasticks, but now that I am older (and I have seen a good production of it) I am able to understand it much more, and I enjoy it a good deal. I think some shows really depend on the individual production you see, and this can dictate your love/hate for the show.
