Sunset after Illinoise. Gatsby does indeed want the James after Sunset. It's a Jordan Roth show and he does have creative influence with ATG. Stranger things is the fly in the ointment for Gatsby - An ATG production into an ATG theater. So, who knows..

Because about 97% of what is posted here is pure delusion
ATG also owns the Lyric. Wouldn't be surprised if ATG closed Cursed Child and put Stranger Things in there.
The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince
Folks, SONIA FRIEDMAN is the lead producer of Stranger Things in London alongside Netflix.
ATG is not the lead producer unless something is changing for Broadway.
ATG may own a share of Sonia's company but it does not control which houses she utilizes, and it doesn't have a role in her day to day producing operations. They are separate entities.
In recent years Sonia has produced shows in houses owned by Shubert, Jujamcyn, CITS, MTC, and ATG. ATG has also lead-produced shows in Shubert and Nederlander-owned houses, such as The Wiz, Appropriate, Parade, and Gutenberg.
I think JELLY'S LAST JAM could definitely make a splash at the St. James. It's got the potential to draw in a fresh crowd and add some variety to the season.
yeah but they won't make money with Jelly's Last Jam.

Last I heard, Illinoise was looking at Studio 54. And that was before Days of Wine and Roses announced their closing. I've been told they're trying to sneak in there before the Tony cutoff. But maybe that's changed in the last 10 days or so.

Fascinating!!! Good to know. I'm curious why they went away from the original plan, especially when they could in theory get into Studio 54 earlier than the St. James. I'm guessing they figured they could sell the bigger house. Good for them!

You'll need to revise your percentage now..."
It's entirely possible that at least three of those things will arrive in sequence...

I didn’t see this at the Armory, so I don’t know- how large of a show is it? Studio 54’s a deceptively small stage.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
What happens if it were to win Best Musical? Wouldn't they want to be in a theatre where they could extend if sales were good, and not in one where producers of the next show would be breathing down their necks?
Think the question right now is will the Tony's even consider it as a musical. There is a only a band playing with singers. None of the dancers sing or talk. At the very least it might win Best Choreography.
