While very true, I find it incredibly hard to believe we're getting a second PRESENT LAUGHTER within two years, especially after Kevin Klein's Tony-winning performance.

What about the ...VIRGINIA WOOLF revival? Do we know where that one's going yet? Playbill said the theater was TBA last I checked. Probably going to be a Shubert house, so I'm thinking the Golden for a Laurie Metcalf three-peat? Or it could go in the Belasco before NORTH COUNTRY. I can't see it being more than a limited run, anyway.

There seems to be a lot of musicals circling. I'd honestly like COMPANY to go into something like the Lyceum or the Longacre -- it would be an absolute disaster trying to fill the Broadway. I agree with others that WSS is a better choice for the Broadway. It can definitely fill the seats.

I could definitely see Diana Announcing a debut in the fall. And it wouldn’t surprise me if it took the nederlander. I also would expect an announcement from Company by the end of the month. And probably once tootsie closes up then an announcement from mrs doubtfire. Along with SIX as well

I wish there were more original works on this list, but on Playbill's list of upcoming/in the works Broadway productions, it does seem like they have some sort of original works scheduled. I'm most interested in Camp David, though I really know nothing about it and it is based on events in history?

Playbill should shut down its upcoming shows page or actually commit to sharing correct information. Camp David, for example, has been dead since 2016.

Or at least update it once in awhile. It still say Gypsy is coming in 2018. It's not even that long of a list, how is it always out of date?

Someone on Twitter noticed that WSS updated their website and I noticed they did their socials too. Looks like no theatre formally mentioned, but they got previews starting December 10 for February 6 opening. It’s a long preview period but I guess that’s owing to opening cold on Broadway with previews during the holidays, and knowing van Hove, he’s casting teenage dancers to keep it unique so maybe that impacts scheduling.

I'd like to see Almost Famous transfer if it does well in San Diego this fall. We will be there at the end of summer and I'm kind of sad we'll miss this. Liked the movie a lot, not sure how it will translate to the stage. I'd guess that it might have another regional try out even if it gets good reviews in SD.

The Alley Theatre here in Houston is doing CAMP DAVID as part of their upcoming season. I'm excited to see it produced.

Interesting.  The review in the New Yorker of Secret Life of Bees didn't  make it sound Broadway ready.  The writer especially mentions that set is "workshop-like."

What about "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough", "Once Upon a One More Time", and the "Titanic" revival? Those seem Broadway-bound.

Edit: Mentioned The Devil Wears Prada, but that seems more 2020-2021 as I think about it more, so nm that

I believe Slave Play is going to the Golden, and Lehman Trilogy is playing the Vivian Beaumont. I think The Golden was even in Slave Play's press release?

I think that was mentioned at first in the press release, but they took that down quickly. Either that is wrong information or they were not suppose to release that yet. Honestly, I would go with the latter as that makes perfect sense, timing-wise.

I would personally choose a play or musical where most of the creative team are female. It would be a good way of showing that Waitress has succeeded in allowing female creative teams to flourish on Broadway. The Secret Life of Bees has a feamle book writer and lyricist, so it could be selected...

With once upon a one more time having pretty much the same creative team as rock of ages, maybe that will take the brooks?? If not, it will probably take The Nederlander or Marquis whenever Tootsie closes up shop.
