Is that a Follies reference?"

Oh, that's kind of exciting."
I’m really hoping this is the Jefferson Mays version that got raves on the West Coast.

There's a hashtag going around to "#BringTheBoltToBroadway," referring to The Lightning Thief: The Musical. Could you see the show coming to Broadway anytime soon? Would it fit in any of the vacant theaters?

We don't need another cult musical flop on Broadway like BMC. It seems to be doing great on tour and it should learn from BMC to not assume a massive online follow will then fill a 1k seat theater every night. I could see it at New World Stage, but anything more might be overkill at this point.

That is true. The one thing I could see benefiting TLT is that it's based on a recognizable property, and Rick Riordan LOVES the show and has promoted it since its conception. But you're right in thinking that it would be hard to fill the theatre eight times a week.

I hope to god I never run into a producer foolish enough to put ANY revival ofCompany in the Broadway."
Lol, I was thinking the same thing.

Broadway - WSS is basically confirmed.
Jacobs - A London transfer of a play to be announced this week.
Haven't heard anything about the Lyceum or Longacre."
These are what I've heard, too. And many more circling, of course. COMPANY is coming in but haven't heard what theatre they're after. The Sondheim is likely opening up soon. And I hear Roundabout might bring in CAROLINE from London, but wonder if that would be in 54 because it's the smaller of the two houses.

An Ivo Van Hove WSS seems like it would be too small for the Broadway (presumably.) Also can we let the Michael Jackson thing just die?

I wonder if the London transfer of the play is Matthew Warchus’ production of Noel Coward’s production of Present Laughter, which has just opened at the Old Vic, which recieved both knockout reviews for the play and Andrew Scott.
Andrew Scott is a big nam in the UK, not sure he is big in the states though?

Not sure how we think that the Ivo WSS is too small for the Broadway, we literally know nothing about it. Its going to the Broadway unless another large Shubert theatre becomes available before. Rudin only produces in Shubert houses.
COMPANY is still casting Bobbi so the schedule will all depend on who they cast and their availability. CAROLINE is in talks for Studio 54 as part of the Roundabout season. I've heard that CRAZY FOR YOU is circling the Sondheim but that was months ago.

Another Present Laughter? I am a huge Andrew Scott fan but no thanks. (Also I think he's getting some attention from Fleabag but most people know him as "the hot priest" so who knows how he'd sell.)

Jessie Mueller for Bobbi please!! I heard rumors about Company at Studio 54 this spring. I could totally see that to be honest. That, or Brooks Atkinson if Waitress closes up shop.
Also, id suspect Jacobs for Secret Life Of Bees this spring. Not sure what The London play will be however, but id assume its a limited run since most plays are. The Ferryman proved me wrong of course however.
