Is it thought west side story into the broadway and what into the neil Simon.

I know it was rumoured years ago love never dies would take the Neil Simon.

Or I wonder if Maggie smith will do a limited run transfer.  Or Diana the musical

I could also see SIX taking up the Lyceum by fall

Man, the Broadway is such a massive theater, I think the longest running show in recent memory was Cinderella. If West Side Story is really opening in December, then I think that might work.

Honestly, I had been given the impression that WSS was eyeing the Winter Garden which was the original home for the musical...?

That was from that famously incorrect gossip reporter Rob Shuter. Who knows, the way things are going.

Is there gonna be anything left on Broadway after this summer? The Cher Show AND King Kong closing Aug 18, a week after The Prom AND Be More Chill?

We don't even know what the scale for this upcoming revival of West Side Story is suppose to be yet, especially given that it's being directed by Ivo van Hove.

Is Flamingo Kid supposed to make a Broadway run? That could fill this theatre in the fall.

Why are they bringing WSS back? The.movie comes out soon and they did a revival that was HORRIBLE (like watching Chelsea gym bunnies prance around the stage) just a few years ago.

It feels like there are just less shows waiting in the wings for a theater than there often are. Is that true, or is my perception skewed? I could see Marie, Dancing Still trying to make a go of this season. I feel like Dreamgirls should probably be counted out, but with a wide range of theaters opening up...Anything else?

If a theater hasn’t already been announced for The Music Man could it be going into one of those?

Yup. Heard the same.

And doesn’t Music Man want the Winter Garden?

Evita ran at the Broadway for awhile. So if a shows good... it’ll run...
